Join now >The Saints are placing Garrett Griffin (hamstring) on injured reserve, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
New Orleans hopes to have him back when eligible, so we’ll see if Griffin returns with the team potentially playing for a playoff spot in Week 18. Juwan Johnson and Nick Vannett will be the top options at tight end on Sunday night.

Elijah Mitchell (concussion/knee) has been ruled out for Week 15.
Mitchell will miss his second consecutive game. The rookie running back is close to clearing concussion protocol, but he’s also dealing with the knee issue and looks shaky for Week 16’s Thursday night matchup against the Titans. Jeff Wilson Jr. will start at running back for the Niners this weekend, with Deebo Samuel likely getting a good amount of work as a ball-carrier again.

Saints activate Mark Ingram from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Ingram missed just one game while on the COVID list and is cleared for Sunday night’s Week 15 matchup at Tampa Bay.

The Bears added Andy Dalton to the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The spread around the league continues, and now we have to hope this doesn’t hit other players on the Bears including in the quarterback room. Chicago plays on Monday night in Week 15. Hopefully Dalton is feeling fine and can return to the team soon.

Carlos Hyde (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 15.
It’s set to be the James Robinson show in the first game without Urban Meyer as the Jags head coach this season. Hopefully Hyde is feeling better soon and can clear the concussion protocol for Week 16.
12/17/21 - 02:26 PM ET
Damien Harris (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 15.
Harris presumably isn’t making the trip to Indianapolis for tomorrow night’s game against the Colts. Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden will lead the Patriots backfield in tomorrow’s big AFC matchup. The good news is Harris seems to be close to playing, so he should have a shot in the rematch with the Bills the day after Christmas.
12/17/21 - 01:22 PM ET
Jordan Howard (knee) will play in Week 15.
As was the hope, Howard is good to go off the bye after missing the previous two games. The bruising running back has been highly effective for the Eagles this season, and he should get a solid workload this Sunday versus a depleted Washington defense.
