Join now >Jameis Winston becomes the first quarterback in NFL history to throw 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in a season.
In an overtime loss the Falcons that fittingly ended in a pick-six by Winston, the former No. 1 overall pick completed 13-of-24 passes for 201 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, also adding two carries for five yards. Tampa Bay has reportedly decided to keep Winston in 2020, but head coach Bruce Arians said the turnovers on Sunday didn’t help his cause, and the final one—the game-ender and his seventh pick-six of the season—made him the first and only player in the 30-30 club. Although Jameis led the league in passing yards (5,109), his fantasy prospects will not be as promising next season if he doesn’t remain with the Bucs.

Mike Gesicki catches game-winning score as Miami upsets New England.
Gesicki caught four-of-seven targets for 34 yards, including a five-yard touchdown reception across the middle to give Miami a 27-24 lead (and victory) with just 24 seconds remaining. Despite being written off by some after a quiet rookie season, Gesicki proved he has the makings of a top-shelf tight end, finishing with a 51/570/5 line and showing impressive toughness in traffic to complement his unique size/athleticism. The Penn State product already finished as a low-end TE1 in 2019, and he could make another leap next year.

DeVante Parker catches eight passes for 137 yards in win over the Patriots.
Parker did battle with Stephon Gilmore all afternoon, and he did more than hold his own by hauling in most of his team-high 11 targets in an upset road victory. The arrow was clearly pointing up for the former first-round pick, but Sunday may have been evidence of him being a matchup-proof WR1 in 2020—especially if Ryan Fitzpatrick remains the starter for Miami. Overall, Parker ends his breakout season with 72 receptions, 1,202 yards, and nine touchdowns while appearing in every game for the first time in his career.

Damien Williams goes off in win over the Chargers.
Operating as the clear lead back, Williams rushed 12 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns, also adding four receptions (on a team-high seven targets) for 30 yards. The highlights were both scores, as on the first, Williams showed tremendous determination through a group of defenders to break free and sprint for an 84-yard touchdown; and on the second, he somehow kept his balance on a seven-yard run to essentially ice the game for Kansas City as they earned a first-round bye. Injuries played a factor, but it’s a surprise that the Chiefs didn’t feature Williams all season.

Kerryon Johnson runs well in season finale.
Johnson, who drew the start, rushed 11 times for 53 yards and a touchdown, which came from one yard away in the second quarter to give the Lions a 14-0 lead over Green Bay. Detroit eventually lost on a last-second field goal, but it was good to see Kerryon see a heavier workload after missing most of the year with a knee injury. The talent is there for Johnson to reach RB1 status in 2020, but his injury history could make him a value in fantasy drafts.

Joe Mixon carries Bengals to Week 17 win.
Mixon rushed 26 times for 162 yards and two touchdowns, also adding a 14-yard reception. The year started slow for Mixon in a new offense, but he completely dominated in the fantasy playoffs (Week 14-Week 17) with a pace for 1,976 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns, so the future remains very bright for Cincinnati’s offensive centerpiece. The Bengals are likely to draft LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft, and A.J. Green coming back would give the Bengals plenty of offensive firepower to lighten up boxes. Mixon is squarely in the first-round conversation for fantasy drafts next season.

Jaron Brown (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight.
Brown being ruled out so early in the night unfortunately might indicate he’s dealing with a potentially serious knee injury, but hopefully he’s able to return for the postseason. The veteran receiver’s regular season ends with 16 receptions for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
