Join now >Todd Gurley handles 22 touches in season finale.
Gurley rushed 20 times for 68 yards and caught two passes for 21 yards. One of the biggest storylines of last summer was the health of Gurley, but he settled in right around our projection for him with 254 touches in 15 games, and seeing the majority of work in a “meaningless” finale should bode well for his status in 2020. The explosiveness wasn’t what it was in the past, but Gurley—who scored 14 total touchdowns this season—should remain an RB1 option on an offense that we expect will come back determined next year.

Hunter Renfrow finishes strong in Week 17 loss.
Renfrow—who had a 7/107/1 line in his return to the lineup last week—closed his rookie campaign with six catches, 102 yards, and one touchdown against the Broncos, and he was the open target on a would-be game-winning two-point conversation that was batted down at the line of scrimmage. Overall, Renfrow caught 49-of-71 targets for 605 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games this season, and he really became a factor at around midseason. Look for him to draw mid/late-round consideration in fantasy drafts over the summer.

Drew Lock improves to 4-1 as Broncos pickup last-second win over the Raiders.
In five games to begin his career and end his rookie season, Lock completed 64.1% of his passes for 1,020 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions. The Broncos may have wanted to see strong play out of Lock ahead of a stacked 2020 quarterback class, and he certainly showed enough to be viewed as the franchise guy. On a very young offense, Lock’s arrow is pointing up in dynasty leagues, and he will be viewed as an upside QB2 pick in redraft leagues next year.

Michael Gallup takes over in blowout win over the Redskins.
Gallup caught five-of-seven targets for 98 yards and three touchdowns—all of which came in the second half of a 47-16 victory. Two of the trips to the end zone came on catch-and-runs, but the most impressive was a twirling grab in the corner as he got his feet down in traffic. The dominant performance for Dallas made their 2019 season all the more frustrating because of all the talent they have on their roster, and it will be interesting to see who roams the sideline for them next year. Gallup should be a high-upside WR2 option in 2020 after a 66/1,107/6 line in 14 games this season.

Boston Scott scores three times in playoff-clinching win over the Giants.
Philadelphia’s offensive centerpiece with Miles Sanders (ankle) leaving the game and Jordan Howard (shoulder) not receiving a touch, Scott rushed 19 times for 54 yards and three touchdowns, also adding four receptions for a team-high 84 receiving yards. New York gave the Eagles a fight through three quarters, but Scott took over late with a pair of two-yard touchdowns in a 34-17 victory. Sanders being ruled out on Sunday leaves him highly questionable for the Wild Card Round, so Scott may end up again leading the way with Jordan Howard likely complementing him against Seattle.

Christian McCaffrey joins 1,000-1,000 club to close out historic 2019 season.
Needing 67 receiving yards to become the third player in NFL history to have 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in a single season, McCaffrey caught seven-of-ten targets for 72 yards, also adding nine carries for 26 yards and a touchdown. Carolina wasn’t able to get McCaffrey close to breaking Chris Johnson’s record for yards from scrimmage, but 1,000-1,000 is obviously a rare milestone, and his third season ends with 287 carries, 1,387 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns, 116 receptions, 1,005 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns. No matter who Carolina adds to the backfield and hires as their next head coach, McCaffrey will be a clear candidate to be the No. 1 overall pick in fantasy drafts over the summer.

Breshad Perriman ends scorching month of December with 5/134/1 line.
Perriman was essentially the entire passing attack for Tampa Bay, and the highlight on Sunday was a leaping, toe-tapping grab in the back of the end zone for a 24-yard score. Over the final five games of the season, Perriman was on pace for 80 receptions, 1,619 yards, and 16 touchdowns, so he really helped his cause ahead of free agency. A former first-round of the Ravens, Perriman is still just 26, and however unlikely, it might make sense for the Buccaneers to re-sign him and see what they can get in a trade for Mike Evans.
