McLaurin now might have a tough time playing in the regular season finale on Sunday, but we’ll see where the impressive rookie receiver stands on Thursday.

The Eagles have signed River Cracraft to the practice squad.
Cracraft has spent time with Denver this year, and he’s now getting a shot in Philly after Deontay Burnett was promoted—perhaps signaling Nelson Agholor (knee) isn’t close to returning.

The Eagles have promoted Deontay Burnett to the active roster.
Burnett was recently signed to the practice squad, but he’s getting called up for Philly ahead of their Week 17 game against the Giants. We like the talent of the second-year receiver out of USC, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy play on an offense that will run through the backs and tight ends.

The Eagles have signed Richard Rodgers.
Rodgers could be insurance for Zach Ertz (ribs) ahead of the season finale, but ideally the Eagles will have their star tight end for a win-and-in game against New York. If Ertz were to sit, Rodgers would be clearly behind Dallas Goedert and Joshua Perkins.

The Steelers have placed Mason Rudolph (shoulder) on injured reserve.
Rudolph replaced Devlin Hodges in Week 16, but he had to leave the game with a left shoulder injury, and it is significant enough to end his season. Pittsburgh would have almost certainly started Rudolph in the season finale and into the postseason (if they make it) after he played well last week, but his year now ends after completing 62.2% of his passes for 1,765 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in ten games (eight starts with a 5-3 record). The 2018 third-round pick should be Ben Roethlisberger’s clear backup in 2020.

The Seahawks have signed Marshawn Lynch.
The top three running backs for Seattle are all done for the year, so they’re bringing back a familiar face by signing Lynch as the team gears up for their playoff run. First, there will be the de facto NFC West championship game next Sunday night against San Francisco, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Lynch immediately be thrown into the fire if he’s in decent shape. That said, those playing in Week 17 would be wise to look elsewhere.

Jamaal Williams (shoulder) is questionable to return for the Packers.
Williams is having a nice game mixing in with Aaron Jones, so hopefully he’s able to get back out there soon. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Williams’ status.
