Join now >The Seahawks are signing Robert Turbin.
Turbin confirmed he is returning to Seattle on his Instagram page. The huge running back started his career with the Seahawks and played three seasons for the team from 2012-2014, so he’s familiar with Pete Carroll’s program and is a natural fit as someone that can come in and play. Turbin is a great addition for the Seahawks in real life, but he’s not a highly recommended fantasy add for Week 17.

The Dolphins are signing Samaje Perine.
Perine had been on the Bengals practice squad, but Miami is adding him to their active roster, and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says he will be “a part of their future in 2020.” The Oklahoma product is a talented runner that simply hasn’t had a bunch of opportunities since entering the league, and he could immediately get a heavy workload in Week 17 against the Patriots. Perine is an intriguing player to watch in dynasty leagues in particular, as Miami’s running back depth chart is basically wide open as the offseason approaches. This confirms Myles Gaskin won’t play in the regular season finale after suffering an ankle injury yesterday.

Alexander Mattison (ankle) is officially inactive for Monday night.
Things were trending in this direction after the Vikings clinched a playoff berth with the Rams’ loss on Saturday night, and Minnesota is not going to rush the rookie running back at less than 100%. Mike Boone is now set for a heavy workload and is in the RB1 mix for fantasy championship games.

Jordan Howard (shoulder) is expected to return for Week 17.
The Eagles released Jay Ajayi, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, indicating that Howard is set to get cleared from his shoulder injury and return to the lineup this Sunday against the Giants. As Philadelphia looks to clinch the NFC East and go on a playoff run, getting Howard back is a major boost for the offense. The powerful running back probably won’t immediately resume lead back duties with the way rookie Miles Sanders has been playing lately, but he could potentially get a dozen or so touches to conclude the regular season and get back into the swing of things ahead of a potential postseason berth. Howard had been out since Week 9 with his mysterious shoulder issue, putting his excellent season on pause, so it’s great to hear that he’ll be back.

The Eagles are releasing Jay Ajayi, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Ajayi played minimally for Philadelphia after being signed when Jordan Howard (shoulder) went down, but the starter will apparently return in Week 17. There is a chance Ajayi signs elsewhere ahead of the playoffs (perhaps Seattle, who could play the Eagles in a couple of weeks), but he probably wouldn’t make a fantasy impact in the season finale.

The Titans waived Dalyn Dawkins.
Dawkins was promoted from the practice squad with Derrick Henry out yesterday because of a hamstring injury, but now Henry will be back for Week 17’s win-and-in game at Houston. Expect Dawkins to land back on Tennessee’s practice squad soon.

The Titans promoted Rashard Davis to the active roster.
Tennessee is banged up at receiver, so they are adding Davis to the roster for a win-and-in Week 17 game against Houston. Davis is not a recommended fantasy pickup for championship matchups.
