Tre'Quan Smith | Broncos WR

Tre’Quan Smith (ankle) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.

The Saints are getting healthier following their bye week, and the second-year receiver looks set to return to the lineup this Sunday against the Falcons. Smith, who has missed the previous three games with his ankle injury and has appeared in just three games total this season, is an interesting pickup in deeper leagues in particular as the potential No. 2 in a high-powered offense.

Jared Cook | Free Agent TE

Jared Cook (ankle) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.

Coming off the bye, Cook looks ready to go for the Saints after missing the previous two games with his ankle injury. We’ll let you know if anything changes with Cook’s status, but the veteran tight end is immediately back on the TE1 radar at a shallow position. He could get a boost with Drew Brees back in the lineup.

Alvin Kamara | Saints RB

Alvin Kamara (ankle/knee) was officially limited in today’s practice.

It’s only Wednesday, so this isn’t a bad start to the week for Kamara coming off the bye. The star running back is probably not a lock to play in Week 10, but he’s expected to be ready to go after the extra week off.

11/6/19 - 05:19 PM ET

Patrick Mahomes | Chiefs QB

Patrick Mahomes (knee) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.

It certainly looks like Mahomes is ready to return to the lineup after missing the previous two games for the Chiefs, as he’s logged his first full practice since his dislocated kneecap. We’ll let you know if Mahomes is listed on the final Week 10 injury report when it’s released Friday, but the reigning league MVP is expected to return this Sunday against the Titans.

11/6/19 - 05:16 PM ET

Gary Jennings | Free Agent WR

The Dolphins have claimed Gary Jennings.

The Seahawks were hoping to get the rookie fourth-round pick through waivers and onto the practice squad, but the Dolphins took advantage of their high waiver order and claimed the West Virginia product. Especially after Preston Williams’ season-ending knee injury, Miami is a spot where Jennings could have a path to a good amount of playing time after he gets the playbook down. The rookie receiver was productive in college, and he’s someone to watch moving forward.

Brandin Cooks | Saints WR

Brandin Cooks (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 10.

Cooks is visiting a specialist following his latest concussion, so fantasy owners may unfortunately be without him for an extended period of time. Hopefully for Cooks sake, though, he gets some good news and will soon return to the field. Josh Reynolds is worth considering as a FLEX option this week with six teams on a bye, and Gerald Everett could see more targets for as long as Cooks is out.

11/6/19 - 04:10 PM ET

David Johnson | Free Agent RB

David Johnson (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Johnson says he is 100% and will play this weekend, so fantasy owners can likely take him at his word. Even with Kenyan Drake going off in Week 9, the bigger concern than workload might be the upcoming matchups (@ TB, @ SF) followed by a bye week. Still, the talent and potential receiving production makes Johnson at least an RB2, and he may be able to regain his RB1 value by the fantasy playoffs.
