Join now >Jacoby Brissett (knee) was limited in today’s practice.
This is a great sign for Brissett’s chances of suiting up in Week 10, but we probably won’t get a clear picture about his status until Friday. Still, Indy’s starter may be worth picking up for fantasy owners that need a streaming option, as you could always find a replacement on Sunday if needed.

A.J. Green (ankle) officially did not practice today.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor just told reporters that Green didn’t practice today after the receiver’s ankle didn’t feel right after walkthrough. Taylor says Green should be considered day-to-day now. This is obviously a major concern after it looked like the Pro Bowl receiver was set to make his season debut this Sunday against the Ravens, as he’s almost certainly now on the doubtful side of things considering the cautious approach that’s been taken to this point. Hopefully this is just a slight precaution, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Green doesn’t play a snap this season considering how things have gone. This might be speculating a bit too far, but it’s also possible that Green wants a new contract before he actually hits the field for a game.

UPDATE: Evan Engram says his foot injury is not a Lisfranc injury.
This is obviously great news, but it does not sound like Engram will suit up this Sunday against the Jets. We’ll let you know how he’s listed on the final Week 10 injury report, but the athletic tight end is expected to miss this week before then getting the Week 11 bye to rest and potentially returning in Week 12.

Evan Engram is dealing with a foot sprain.
Head coach Pat Shurmur told reporters the news, and the star tight end is currently in a walking boot. With the Giants at 2-7, it makes sense to let the injury completely heal, and an extended absence seems to be on the table. Rhett Ellison will be the next man up at tight end, but Engram missing time will mostly lead to increased targets for Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard (when he returns), and Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles are signing Jordan Matthews, according to Ian Rapoport.
Matthews was an obvious candidate to be signed with DeSean Jackson (abdomen) on IR, as he knows the offense and can immediately step in as a contributor behind Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor. The veteran was a favorite of Carson Wentz’s back in 2016, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him become a big factor for Philly. Still, fantasy owners can probably leave Matthews on the waiver wire in redraft leagues.

Evan Engram is getting a second opinion on his foot.
Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said yesterday that Engram was dealing with a sore foot, but it appears it might be worse than that. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Engram’s MRI is being sent to specialist Dr. Robert Anderson for a second opinion. Hopefully this is precautionary, but the third-year tight end looks to be in jeopardy for Week 10 and potentially beyond. More information on Engram’s foot should become available in the next day or so.

Le’Veon Bell has a knee/ankle ankle injury; thought to be fine.
Bell’s MRI showed know structural damage. The All-Pro running back is not expected to be in danger of missing Week 10 against the Giants, but he won’t practice today. Expect Bell to be limited throughout the week, and we’ll let you know if he’s listed on the final injury report when it’s released on Friday.
