Join now >Parris Campbell has a fractured hand.
Campbell will miss time with his hand fracture after surgery, but the Colts do not plan to place him on injured reserve. The second-round rookie receiver has unfortunate dealt with a few injuries during his first year in the NFL, and he is not a must-hold in redraft leagues. Zach Pascal is likely the top fantasy option among Indy’s receivers with Campbell and T.Y. Hilton out, but Deon Cain is someone to keep an eye on.

Jacoby Brissett (knee) has a chance to play in Week 10, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
The MRI brought good news (just an MCL strain), so while it’s no guarantee, the Colts may have their starter against the Dolphins next weekend. At worst, it sounds like Brissett is just looking at a short-term absence, and he’ll be squarely on the streaming radar whenever he’s back.

DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is having surgery and is likely done for the season, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport is just speculating that Jackson will be done for the season based on the timing, but he’s probably right. If so, the reunion with the Eagles didn’t go according to plan in 2019, as Jackson caught just one pass since the opener, and he was officially active for just three games. Other reports have Jackson’s timetable at four-to-six weeks, but we would be surprised if he played again; fantasy owners can release the veteran deep threat in redraft leagues.

Preston Williams (knee) is out for the season.
This is really unfortunate for Williams, who worked his way from an undrafted rookie from Colorado State into a reliable option for the Dolphins on the outside. Williams’ season ends with 32 receptions for 428 yards and three touchdowns in eight games, and he’s certainly someone to keep an eye on moving forward. It wasn’t ability that caused the six-foot-five receiver to go undrafted this year, as there were off-field concerns that caused him to not get selected in the NFL draft. Williams has the on-field ability to develop into Miami’s top weapon on offense.

Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians says O.J. Howard should be “ready to roll” for Week 10.
After missing the last two games with a hamstring injury, Howard is set to return for Tampa Bay this weekend against Arizona. Howard returns for the best matchup possible in terms of fantasy points allowed to the tight end position, and he’s worth a strong look as a TE1 in your fantasy lineup this week despite a disappointing 2019 campaign to this point.

Lamar Jackson makes MVP case in Ravens’ win over the Patriots.
Despite facing the league’s No. 1 defense, Jackson was basically unstoppable in Baltimore’s 37-20 Sunday night Week 9 victory. He was 17/23 for 163 yards and one touchdown along with 16 carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns. The rushing scores both came down by the goal line, with the first one coming on a walk-in around the left end and the second coming on a power run where his lineman pulled him into the end zone. The passing touchdown was to a wide-open Nick Boyle running across the field down by the goal line. The passing numbers are not amazing, but Jackson was calm in the pocket and put passes on the money with his underrated quick release. After making the New England defense look bad, the Heisman Trophy winner is squarely in the MVP discussion, and there’s no question he’s among the most valuable fantasy football assets this season—it’s crazy he wasn’t ranked as a consensus top-ten fantasy quarterback in the preseason. Jackson will likely be the top quarterback option next week against the Bengals after he put up 30.6 fantasy points against them a few weeks ago.

Mohamed Sanu catches ten passes in Sunday night loss.
Sanu gained 81 yards and scored his first touchdown with New England in the team’s 37-20 loss at Baltimore, as he was a consistent and reliable underneath target for Tom Brady throughout the night. The Patriots went with a pass-heavy approach against the stout Ravens defense, but Sanu still caught one-third of Brady’s 30 completions, and it appears the veteran receiver is not having much trouble adjusting to a new offense midseason. The Patriots have a bye next week before facing the Eagles, and Sanu should be a very good fantasy option in that game and potentially moving forward after quickly gaining the trust of his quarterback.
