Corey Clement | Free Agent RB

The Eagles have placed Corey Clement (shoulder) on injured reserve.

Clement hasn’t been involved much behind Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, and Darren Sproles this year, but this is still a tough blow for a player that’s made big plays in big spots for Philly. Boston Scott has been promoted from the practice squad in the corresponding move.

Sterling Shepard | Buccaneers WR

The Giants have ruled out Sterling Shepard (concussion) for Week 6.

Shepard may reportedly miss an extended period of time after suffering his second concussion of the season, so Golden Tate will step up as the team’s clear No. 1 receiver with rookie Darius Slayton taking on an expanded role. It’s difficult to trust New York’s passing attack for a road matchup against New England’s suffocating secondary.

Christian Kirk | Texans WR

Christian Kirk (ankle) officially remains limited in practice.

Kirk was limited all last week before ultimately not playing against the Falcons. Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that Kirk won’t play until he’s 100%, so it sounds like he’ll need to log a full practice before he’s active again. Expect Kirk to remain limited in practice the next couple of days, but we’ll update you if anything changes.

Baker Mayfield | Buccaneers QB

Baker Mayfield has returned for the Browns.

The Browns did not even give an official injury update for Mayfield, and he did not miss any snaps with his injury. It appears he might have had some extra padding added in the are he had the pain/discomfort, but the bottom line is he’s back in there with the Browns down five to the Seahawks.

10/13/19 - 03:19 PM ET

Kenny Stills | Free Agent WR

Kenny Stills (hamstring) is officially questionable for Week 6.

Stills was limited in practice all week again, but that was also the case last week before he was inactive. Still is a game-time call for Sunday against the Chiefs.

10/11/19 - 03:50 PM ET

Wayne Gallman | Free Agent RB

The Giants have ruled out Wayne Gallman (concussion) for Thursday night’s game against the Patriots.

This isn’t a surprise with a short week to clear the protocol, but the Giants will now start Jonathan Hilliman at running back against the league-best New England defense. It may be tempting to get a starter off waivers to insert into your lineup, but fantasy owners should probably avoid New York altogether in Week 6. With Saquon Barkley’s return from a high-ankle sprain looking imminent, Gallman can likely be dropped if you need the roster space.

10/9/19 - 12:50 PM ET

Ryan Grant | Packers WR

The Packers signed Ryan Grant.

This might be a bit confusing on first glance because the Packers had former running back Ryan Grant from 2007-2012 (a two-time 1,200-yard rusher for them), but Green Bay is signing the free agent receiver that played four years for Washington, last season for Indianapolis, and the early part of this season in Oakland. Grant has a chance to immediately carve out a role with the Packers, but he’s not a recommended fantasy pickup at the moment.
