Join now >Randall Cobb (hip/back) is officially inactive for the Cowboys.
After practicing fully on Wednesday, Cobb missed the last two practices of the week with a hip/back issue. The veteran receiver is a key loss in the middle of the field for Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense. His absence could led to even more targets for Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup.

Todd Gurley (thigh bruise) is doubtful for Week 6.
This is obviously not good news, as Gurley is likely to miss Sunday’s key divisional game against the 49ers while dealing with lingering pain in his thigh area. The Rams are obviously concerned about the injury, which is to the same leg he had the knee issues last season, and the star running back should be considered week-to-week for now. With Gurley likely out, Malcolm Brown is set to start for the Rams and is immediately a strong option in Week 6 fantasy lineups. If Brown is available in your league he should be picked up immediately. Third-round rookie running back Darrell Henderson will now get more action is also worth a look in deeper leagues in particular.

Saquon Barkley (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 6.
The hope was that Barkley would be ready to go after making considerable progress from his high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 3, but the Giants are playing it safe with their franchise running back. Barkley should still be considered week-to-week, but he looks to have a good chance of returning for a Week 7 game against the Cardinals. This could be another opportunity to buy-low on the consensus first pick in 2019 fantasy drafts, especially if his owner is in a spot where they have a team that’s struggling.

Brock Osweiler has retired from the NFL.
The second-round draft pick in the 2012 NFL Draft told 9News in Denver that he is retiring from the NFL at 28 years old. Osweiler’s career ends with 7,418 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, and 31 interception; and he went 15-15 as a starter in his career. Many have criticized Osweiler’s play over the years, but the Broncos almost certainly would not have won Super Bowl 50 if not for the quarterback’s play during the 2015 season when he came off the bench for an injured Peyton Manning and played very well, going 5-2 to help Denver secure an AFC West title and a No. 1 seed in the postseason. Some felt that Osweiler left the Broncos after that season because he thought he should have continued playing after performing well when he was given the opportunity. Osweiler made plenty of money with his free agent contract from Houston, where he won an AFC South title, and is retiring after an accomplished career. We wish him luck on his post-football life.

The Eagles have officially ruled out Corey Clement (shoulder) for Week 6.
Clement was set to help fill in for Darren Sproles if healthy, but his shoulder injury is keeping him out this Sunday against the Vikings. The former undrafted running back does not need to be owned in redraft rosters at the moment.

Evan Engram (knee) has been ruled out for tomorrow night.
Engram is reportedly dealing with a sprained MCL, and the Giants went ahead and ruled him out ahead of tomorrow’s Week 6 game in Foxboro. Saquon Barkley (ankle), Sterling Shepard (concussion), and Wayne Gallman (concussion) were also ruled out, so rookie quarterback Daniels Jones is an extremely difficult spot in his fourth career start. Consider Engram week-to-week for now.
