Julian Edelman (chest) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

This was also the case last week, when Edelman ultimately played against the Bills. While the veteran receiver is not at 100%, it’d be a major surprise if he doesn’t suit up in Week 5’s matchup at Washington. That said, perhaps the Patriots believe they can get past the Redskins without Edelman and might choose to rest him with a Thursday night game coming up next week. Check back in on Sunday morning to make sure Edelman is active.

The Redskins officially released Robert Davis.

Washington is going in another direction, promoting wide receiver Cam Sims from the practice squad. Davis is 24 years old and should draw interest around the league soon.

Vance McDonald (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.

McDonald is likely headed for a true gametime decision, but the Steelers face the Ravens at 1:00 PM ET, so his status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday. If active, McDonald would likely get close to his usual playing time and would be in the TE1 mix.

The Redskins promoted Cam Sims to the active roster.

Sims appeared in the first game for the Redskins last year before a season-ending injury. The undrafted free agent from the 2018 draft is six-foot-five and won a couple of national titles at Alabama.

James Conner is not listed on the Steelers’ injury report.

Conner missed practice time with an ankle injury this week, but he’s good to go for a big game against the Ravens on Sunday. Baltimore was just shredded by Nick Chubb for 183 total yards and three touchdowns, so look for them be more determined to stop the run in Week 5. Conner is trending up for the season, but this week, he might be more of a high-end RB2 than RB1.

LeSean McCoy (ankle) was officially limited in today’s practice.

McCoy banged up an ankle again at the end of the Chiefs’ Week 4 win over the Lions, but a limited practice today is a good sign for his status. We’ll track the veteran running back’s practice activity the next couple of days.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (toe) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.

Smith-Schuster is fully expected to play against the Ravens, but it’s worth noting that James Conner (ankle) is not listed with an injury designation for Sunday. If Smith-Schuster is active, there’s a chance he could be used as a decoy. Overall, JuJu is shaping up as more of a FLEX option than WR1/WR2 this week.
