David Blough | Lions QB

The Lions acquires David Blough, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Blough was just undrafted out of Purdue this year, so the Lions must’ve been hoping to get him after this year’s draft. The rookie will look to develop in Detroit, but he’s off the fantasy radar for now.

Andre Roberts | Texans WR

Andre Roberts (quad) has been ruled out for Week 1.

Roberts didn’t practice all week while dealing with a quad injury. This is a bigger loss for the Bills in real life than it is a move with fantasy implications.

Jacob Hollister | Free Agent TE

The Seahawks have released Jacob Hollister.

Hollister was acquired in a trade with New England earlier this year, but Seattle is moving on. Will Dissly is locked in as the team’s top tight end and is probably being overlooked in fantasy drafts.

Elijah McGuire | Chiefs RB

The Browns have signed Elijah McGuire to their practice squad.

McGuire was released by the Jets at final roster cuts, but this is a great landing spot for him to potentially rebuild his value if he can get promoted to the 53-man roster. This negatively impacts the handcuff outlooks for Dontrell Hilliard and D’Ernest Johnson.

Brice Butler | Free Agent WR

The Dolphins released Brice Butler.

Butler was just caught on a roster with too many receivers, but he’s a talented player with good size for his position. He should not have any trouble landing on his feet.

Antonio Brown | Free Agent WR

The Raiders now plan to play Antonio Brown on Monday night.

The Raiders must have accepted Brown’s apology in today’s team meeting, as the All-Pro is back in the mix less than 24 hours after it looked like his time with the franchise might end before he plays a snap. We would have to think Brown is on his last strike and must stay on his best behavior from this point forward, but for now, you can safely fire him up as a WR1 in your fantasy lineup. It’ll be interesting to hear what general manager Mike Mayock says about this, if anything.

9/6/19 - 01:53 PM ET

Cody Thompson | Free Agent WR

The Chiefs have released Cody Thompson.

Thompson had an impressive pro debut with seven receptions for 69 yards in the first week of the preseason, but Kansas City has too many options at receiver. The rookie is a candidate for the practice squad.
