Dillon Mitchell | Vikings WR

The Vikings have selected Oregon wide receiver Dillon Mitchell in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

There were apparently some concerns about Mitchell leaving Oregon and whether he was ready to be an NFL contributor, but Minnesota is taking a chance on him in the final round. And it’s a good landing spot, too, as the Vikings are looking for options behind Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, so Mitchell should be on the map for dynasty owners.

Terry Godwin II | Free Agent WR

The Panthers have selected Georgia wide receiver Terry Godwin II in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

It’s a pretty big surprise that Godwin was still around here in the seventh round, so this is great value for the Panthers. This might not be a particularly exciting pick based on the numbers Godwin put up for the Bulldogs, but they had several NFL options that needed touches in a run-heavy offense. There probably isn’t WR1 upside for Godwin, but he’s a very smooth receiver that could eventually work his way into consideration for PPR owners if he can get on the field with Carolina at some point.

John Ursua | Seahawks WR

The Seahawks have selected Hawaii wide receiver John Ursua in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ursua is coming off an 89-catch, 1,343-yard, 16-touchdown season during his junior season at Hawaii, and he declared for the NFL draft instead of returning for another season. Ursua will have to compete on special teams to earn a role with the Seahawks as a rookie, but the practice squad could be where he lands in 2019.

Myles Gaskin | Free Agent RB

The Dolphins have selected Washington running back Myles Gaskin in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Gaskins is one of the most productive college football running backs of all-time, helping Chris Peterson and the Huskies win a lot of games the past four seasons. Gaskins has the 12-most rushing yards in college football history (5,323), as he ran for over 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons at Washington and became the program’s all-time leading rusher. He also had double-digit touchdowns in each of his four seasons, with 57 total in his college career. The size of Gaskins (five-foot-nine, 205 pounds) might make it difficult for him to be a three-down back, but he should be able to produce at the next level after a stellar college career. He’ll look to compete for snaps as a rookie, and it’s possible he’ll deliver some fantasy value in 2019 if he gets a good amount of playing time.

Chandler Cox | Dolphins FB

The Dolphins have selected Auburn fullback Chandler Cox in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Cox caught 26 passes for 237 yards and a touchdown, and also caught three more touchdowns, during his college career with the Bulldogs, but he’ll obviously mostly contribute as a blocker for the Dolphins. He can make a big real-life impact in his career, but fantasy value for Cox is very unlikely.

Alizé Mack | Saints TE

The Saints have selected Notre Dame tight end Alizé Mack in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Mack is a solid athlete with 4.70 speed and a 36.0-inch vertical at six-foot-four, so he could become a fantasy factor if he’s able to earn a roster spot and role in Sean McVay’s offense. This is a deep tight end class, though, so there might be better targets in dynasty leagues at this point.

4/27/19 - 05:35 PM ET

Tommy Sweeney | Bills TE

The Bills have selected Boston College tight end Tommy Sweeney in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Sweeney has been a solid contributor for the Eagles over the past three years, totaling ten touchdowns and contributing as a blocker in the running game. Buffalo already drafted Ole Miss’ Dawson Knox, so Sweeney will hope to earn a roster spot as the team’s No. 3 tight end this summer.
