Join now >Kentucky tight end C.J. Conrad is signing with the Giants as an undrafted free agent.
Conrad received solid playing time in all four of his college seasons with Kentucky, catching 80 passes for 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Wildcats. Conrad is mostly a strong run blocker that will help pave running lanes for Saquon Barkley in New York if he makes the roster, so he’s not on the fantasy radar right now.

Michigan State running back L.J. Scott is signing with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent.
Scott was a solid player for three seasons at Michigan State, immediately contributing as a freshman and scoring at least seven touchdowns in each of his first three college seasons; but he returned to school for his senior season and an ankle injury unfortunately limited him to five games. Scott could have redshirted and returned for another season with the Spartans, but you have to admire him playing in the team’s bowl game instead of shutting it down after a disappointing injury-plagued year. Overall, Scott is a solid all-around running back that might be more productive numbers-wise in the NFL than he was in college, and he’ll look to at least work his way into a big part of a committee in Baltimore. He likely won’t have a ton of fantasy value in 2019, as he probably has an uphill climb to make the 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent. The practice squad might be the place for him as a rookie.

Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald is signing with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.
Fitzgerald was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs, and he is an excellent runner for a quarterback, with 3,504 yards and 45 scores on the ground in his career—and 6,055 passing yards and 54 passing scores (28 interceptions) through the air. He’s in an intriguing spot with Bruce Arians, who might use him at other places than quarterback.

Purdue quarterback David Blough is signing with the Browns as an undrafted free agent.
Blough is another experienced quarterback from this year’s draft class that played in all four years of his college career, with his best season coming in his last season, when he threw for 3,705 yards, 25 touchdowns, and ten interception—including 378 yards and three touchdowns in an upset victory over Ohio State. The Browns are a good spot for him to have a legit opportunity to work his way into a backup quarterback role behind Baker Mayfield.

The Buccaneers are signing Buffalo wide receiver Anthony Johnson as an undrafted free agent.
There has been almost no buzz on Johnson in the weeks and months leading up to the draft, but he is a solid receiver that’s gone for lines of 76/1,356/14 and 57/1,011/11—with a combined 17.8 yards per reception—in two seasons at Buffalo. Of course, the NFL will be a significant jump, but Johnson has the size and overall skills to be a future starter for Tampa Bay if he can work his way onto the roster or practice squad as an undrafted rookie.

The Chiefs are signing former Ivy League Player of the Year John Lovett, according to Tom Pelissero.
Lovett was a standout quarterback for Princeton, but he’s basically entering the league as an athlete that will likely play tight end or fullback. Fantasy owners don’t need to have him on the radar right now, but perhaps Lovett will turn into a star in Kansas City’s high-powered offense.

Undrafted wide receiver Jaylen Smith is signing with the Ravens, according to Tom Pelissero.
Smith will reunite with college quarterback Lamar Jackson, and the built-in chemistry between the two should help him in his quest to earn a roster spot. Also, he picked a good team to sign with since Baltimore basically has a wide-open depth chart at receiver. Dynasty owners in particular should have Smith on their radar.
