Easton Stick | Free Agent QB

The Chargers have selected North Dakota State quarterback Easton Stick in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Stick took over the starting quarterback job for FCS powerhouse North Dakota State after No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz left for the NFL. He was a three-time team captain and a member of three national championship teams, including a perfect 15-0 season as a senior. He’ll look to develop as the No. 3 quarterback behind Philip Rivers and Tyrod Taylor in Los Angeles, and perhaps he’ll get an inside track with a chance to perhaps replace Rivers when the veteran quarterback retires.

Jordan Scarlett | Dolphins RB

The Panthers have selected Florida running back Jordan Scarlett in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Scarlett worked in a committee during his college career with the Gators, averaging 5.4 yards per carry with 12 touchdowns. Carolina is looking for someone to seize the backup running back role behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey, and Scarlett will look to compete for that role in 2019 and beyond.

Qadree Ollison | Free Agent RB

The Falcons have selected Pittsburgh running back Qadree Ollison in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ollison is a powerful runner that runs hard but had to contest with James Conner taking a good number of carries at Pitt. As a freshman, Ollison ran for 1,121 yards and 11 touchdowns, then he had just 123 carries his sophomore and junior seasons before going over 1,000 yards again as a senior with 1,213 yards and 11 touchdowns. Ollison will look to compete for a role in Atlanta’s backfield as a rookie, and there’s a chance he could deliver some 2019 fantasy value.

Hunter Renfrow | Panthers WR

The Raiders have selected Clemson wide receiver Hunter Renfrow in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

College football fans know that Renfrow is a legend for catching the game-winning touchdown against Alabama in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, and all he did was produce out of the slot for the Tigers over the past four years. In Oakland, Renfrow could eventually become a security blanket for Derek Carr, and PPR owners in particular should have Renfrow on their radar, as he was so reliable on third downs for Clemson that they called it “third-and-Renfrow.” There’s a chance he starts right away between Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams.

Zach Gentry | Free Agent TE

The Steelers have selected Michigan tight end Zach Gentry in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

A six-foot-eight target, Gentry should have a shot to turn into a significant contributor for a Steelers offense that will have space down the seam with JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington, and others needing attention. While Vance McDonald will remain the clear starter, it’s worth noting that Pittsburgh uses multiple tight ends, and the veteran’s injury history could force Gentry into a role early in his career. For now, he’s just a dynasty prospect, though.

Ryquell Armstead | Free Agent RB

The Jaguars have selected Temple running back Ryquell Armstead in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Armstead had his best season at Temple as a senior, rushing for 1,098 yards and 13 touchdowns on 210 attempts, and he then performed well in post-season events during the pre-draft process. Armstead is a powerful runner that won’t be fun for defenders to tackle, and there’s a chance he could become a great goal-line option for Jacksonville at the very least—though the presence of Leonard Fournette makes the less of a possibility in 2019. The Temple product didn’t get a ton of opportunities as a pass-catcher in college, but he’ll likely do most of his contributing as a downhill runner in the NFL. The future of Fournette with the Jaguars could determine Armstead’s fantasy value in the coming years.

Foster Moreau | Saints TE

The Raiders have selected LSU tight end Foster Moreau with the No. 137 pick (fourth round) in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Moreau had limited statistical production during his college career for the Tigers, not eclipsing 300 yards in any of his four seasons. However, he’s an excellent run blocker that can contribute immediately for Oakland, and he can chip in as a receiver, too. Moreau isn’t really on the fantasy radar at the moment, but we’ll see if he can work his way into a starting role on a team with a wide-open tight end depth chart.
