Join now >Sammy Watkins (foot) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.
There isn’t any doubt Watkins will be out there for the AFC Championship Game this Sunday against the Patriots, but this full practice is an excellent sign and indicates he’s closer to 100%. The dynamic 25-year-old receiver played nearly the entire game in the Divisional Round against the Colts, and he should be very close to full strength with a Super Bowl trip on the line. Watkins might have to contend with a lot of All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who held Watkins to two receptions for 18 yards in their matchup earlier this season, though.

Lamar Miller gets 13 touches in Wild Card Round.
Miller carried five times for 18 yards and caught eight passes for 63 yards in the Texans’ loss to the Colts. Houston didn’t make a big effort to get the run game going after they fell behind, as they attempted 49 passes in the game. Miller was a reliable underneath target that made some moves after the catch, though. Entering a contract year in 2019, Miller will likely be back leading the Texans backfield, as he’s a steady player the team appears happy and comfortable with. He’ll turn just 28 this offseason.

Tyrell Williams nears 100 yards in Chargers’ playoff loss.
Williams caught five passes for 94 yards in the Divisional Round loss to New England. He was a reliable target on intermediate-to-deep routes throughout the game as the Chargers attempted to stage a comeback. Williams is set to become a free agent this offseason, so it’ll be interesting to see if the Chargers bring him back with Mike Williams set to take on a bigger role next season.

Antonio Gates catches four passes in Chargers’ playoff win.
Gates gained 35 yards on his four receptions in the Wild Card Round win over the Ravens, as he worked as a reliable underneath target for Philip Rivers throughout the game. If Hunter Henry (knee) returns for the Divisional Round, the future Hall of Famer Gates could have his role decrease against the Patriots next Sunday.
1/6/19 - 04:39 PM ET
Spencer Ware (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
A full practice tomorrow or Friday would make us feel better about Ware’s status for the AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, but he’s probably headed for a questionable tag when the final injury report is released on Friday. Damien Williams has been playing exceptionally-well as the clear starter during Ware’s absence, so Kansas City isn’t going to rush Ware back.
1/16/19 - 05:27 PM ET
Zach Pascal catches one pass for six yards in Saturday’s win over the Texans.
He also rushed once for a gain of 14 yards. Pascal will see some playing time as the No. 4 or No. 5 receiver next week against Kansas City in the Divisional Round.
1/5/19 - 07:42 PM ET
Cordarrelle Patterson handles one touch in playoff win.
It was a three-yard rush. Patterson also got his hands on one kick return for 23 yards as Los Angeles looked to keep the ball away from him. The former first-round pick will hope to make an impact in the AFC Championship Game next Sunday.
