Develin converted both his touches for a first down, which has been the case whenever called upon this season. New England’s fullback will continue leading the way for Sony Michel in the AFC Championship next week.

Willie Snead caught three passes for 50 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers.
Snead led all wideouts in receiving, but the offense didn’t really get going until the fourth quarter of a 23-17 defeat. Overall, Snead had a solid first season in Baltimore, and he will be back next season in a similar role, though it won’t warrant heavy fantasy consideration if Lamar Jackson is unable to make big strides as a passer.

The Eagles signed Johnny Holton to a future/reserve contract.
The Raiders had experimented with Holton at cornerback during the season, but he’s been announced as a wide receiver signing for Philadelphia in an apparent move back to the other side of the ball. Holton can contribute on both offense and special teams, and he’ll look to carve out a role with the Eagles in 2019.

Andrew Luck, Colts defeat the Texans in the Wild Card Round, 21-7.
Luck was 19/32 for 222 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, also adding eight carries for 29 yards. Indianapolis jumped out to a 21-0 in the second quarter, and they never looked back as the defense shutdown Houston’s offense. Luck found Eric Ebron for a six-yard score on the game’s opening possession, and then found Dontrelle Inman for an 18-yard score in the second quarter. The interception came on a deflection by J.J. Watt at the line-of-scrimmage. The white-hot Colts will now face the top-seeded Chiefs next Saturday.

Melvin Gordon scores in Chargers’ playoff loss.
Gordon carried nine times for 15 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for 11 yards in the loss to New England. The Patriots did an excellent job of shutting down LA’s run game, not allowing the star running back to get going; and then the Chargers were forced into a pass-happy gameplay after falling behind 35-7 at halftime. Gordon’s score came on a goal-line carry. He clearly wasn’t 100% toward the end of the season ever since his Week 12 knee injury against Arizona, but Gordon should be full strength well ahead of the start of offseason training. Gordon is entering a contract year next season, but the Chargers should obviously try to lock him up long-term. One of the better fantasy RB1s when he was healthy this season, Gordon should obviously be a first-round selection in 2019 fantasy drafts. He’ll likely get undervalued again and would be a steal in the second round like he was last summer.

Mike Williams catches two passes in the Wild Card Round.
Williams gained a team-high 42 yards on his two receptions in the Chargers’ playoff win versus Baltimore, including a 28-yard reception on a deep ball where he made a nice diving catch on an accurate throw by Philip Rivers. The second-year receiver next faces the Patriots in the Divisional Round one week from today.

Julian Edelman goes over 150 yards playoff victory.
Edelman caught nine passes for 151 yards, also adding a seven-yard rush. The New England offense ran through James White (15/97) and Edelman (13 targets) early on, and a 35-7 lead at the half carried them to a 41-28 win. We should be in store for a thriller next Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium, and Edelman will look to build on his all-time great playoff resumé after moving into second place for career postseason receptions.
