Eric Ebron | Free Agent TE

Eric Ebron scores in win over the Texans.

Ebron caught a six-yard touchdown on the game’s opening drive, and he finished with three receptions for 26 yards. The former first-round pick—15 touchdowns in 17 games this year—will be as good a bet as anyone to find the end zone in the Divisional Playoffs next week when Indianapolis takes on Kansas City.

Virgil Green | Free Agent TE

Virgil Green scores in playoff loss to he Patriots.

Green caught one pass for one yard and a touchdown, scoring on a corner route where he snuck free off a play-action fake. Green is mostly used as a blocker, so he’s not on the fantasy radar entering the offseason. He’s a better real-life contributor than fantasy asset.

Antonio Gates | Retired TE

Antonio Gates scores in Divisional Round.

Gates caught five passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers’ loss to the Patriots, with the score coming on a corner route in the final minute of the 41-28 loss. If this was the future Hall of Famer’s last NFL game, it was good to see him go out with a touchdown. He showed he can still play, though, so maybe we’ll see him back in 2019. However, it won’t be as LA’s top tight end with Hunter Henry entering the offseason healthy after his torn ACL suffered last May.

Maxx Williams | Free Agent TE

Maxx Williams catches one pass in playoff loss.

It went for eight yards. Williams will now enter unrestricted free agency after catching 63 passes across four season with the Ravens. He is unlikely to open 2019 with fantasy value.

Benjamin Watson | Retired TE

Benjamin Watson will not play in the NFC Championship Game, according to ESPN’s Katherine Terrell.

Watson has appendicitis and missed the last two practices, and Terrell says the team has decided that he’ll be inactive for Sunday. This isn’t a surprise considering the Saints are a very precise and detail-oriented team that relies on practice time to get a rhythm for Sunday as much as any team in the league. Unfortunately, this could mean the end of Watson’s career, as he retiring after the season; so the veteran tight end will be cheering as much as anyone for his team to advance to the Super Bowl so he can suit up one last time.

Chester Rogers | Texans WR

Chester Rogers caught four passes for 46 yards in Saturday’s playoff win.

Rogers was targeted five times in the 21-7 road victory. The soon-to-be 25-year-old will look to make an impact next week on his birthday when Indy travels to take on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

1/5/19 - 07:51 PM ET

Mike Williams | Chargers WR

Mike Williams catches five passes in Chargers’ playoff loss.

Williams gained 68 yards on his five receptions against the Patriots. The second-year receiver drew a team-high 11 targets in the Divisional Round loss, as Keenan Allen had to contend with a shadow from All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore for much of the afternoon. Williams made some spectacular catches throughout the game, showing off his elite catch radius while making plays for Philip Rivers. Early in the game, he had a miss on a deep ball that was in his hands, but Williams otherwise played well. It was great to see Williams healthy and making an impact after injury basically wiped out his rookie year, and the Clemson product offers major fantasy upside in 2019 after he recorded double-digit scores this season. Rivers appears to have a lot of trust in his young receiver.
