Lamar Jackson | Ravens QB

Lamar Jackson, Ravens survive against the Browns, 26-24.

Jackson was 14/24 for 179 yards, also adding 20 carries for 90 yards and two touchdowns. The rookie lost a fumble at the goal line on a leaping attempt for his third score, but he ripped off a 25-yard run and an eight-yard run before that to get a 20-7 halftime lead, which Baltimore held onto in order to win the AFC South. Jackson’s first regular season ends with a 6-1 record as a starter, completing 58.2% of his passes for 1,201 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions while adding 147 carries for 695 yards (4.7 YPC) and five touchdowns on the ground. The Ravens will look to defend home field next Sunday against the visiting Chargers and start an improbable Super Bowl run led by a rookie.

Randall Cobb | Free Agent WR

Randall Cobb catches one pass in Week 17.

Cobb gained 27 yards on his lone reception versus the Lions. Aaron Rodgers left the game with a concussion, making things difficult on Green Bay’s offense. Cobb’s 2018 campaign ends with 38 receptions for 383 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. He obviously battled injuries throughout, but overall this was probably Cobb’s worst season since his rookie year. Cobb will turn just 29 next August, and he’ll draw solid interest as a free agent this offseason—though it would be weird to see him leave Green Bay.

12/31/18 - 11:19 AM ET

Sterling Shepard | Buccaneers WR

Sterling Shepard catches four passes in Week 17.

Shepard gained 67 yards on his four receptions against the Cowboys, and he also had one carry for nine yards. Shepard’s season ends with 66 receptions for 872 yards and four touchdowns along with three carries for 33 yards. The receptions and yardage marks were career-highs, but he was relatively boom/bust this season. Shepard will look to push for his first 1,000-yard season as he enters his fourth year in the league, and it’s worth noting it’ll be a contract year unless the Giants sign him to an extension this offseason.

12/31/18 - 10:30 AM ET

De'Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

De’Angelo Henderson rushed twice for 19 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.

The touches were Henderson’s first of the year. The 26-year-old is off the fantasy radar right now, but he will look to carve out a role in New York or somewhere else next summer.

12/31/18 - 09:41 AM ET

Darren Fells | Free Agent TE

Darren Fells catches one pass in season finale.

It went for three yards. Fells ends his age-32 season with 11 receptions for 117 yards and three touchdowns; the Browns can get out of his contract with minimal cap implications, but it makes sense to keep the veteran around for a young team.

12/31/18 - 12:33 PM ET

Torrey Smith | Retired WR

Torrey Smith held without a catch in season finale.

Smith was targeted once. The veteran caught just 17 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with the Panthers, and chances are probably against his club option being picked up for 2019.

12/31/18 - 11:17 AM ET

Wayne Gallman | Free Agent RB

Wayne Gallman scores in Week 17.

Gallman carried six times for 23 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for seven yards against the Cowboys. Gallman’s second NFL season ends with 51 carries for 176 yards and one touchdown along with 14 receptions for 89 yards. The numbers aren’t amazing, but the Clemson product is one of the best backup running backs in the league as an all-around player that can remain on the field all three downs. He should remain Saquon Barkley’s handcuff in 2019.
