Fowler gained 21 yards on his three Week 17 receptions. Fowler’s season ends with 16 receptions for 199 yards and a touchdown in ten games. He doesn’t have a ton of fantasy value heading into the offseason.

James O’Shaughnessy catches three passes in Week 17.
O’Shaughnessy gained 25 yards on his three receptions against the Texans. O’Shaughnessy’s season ends with 24 receptions for 214 yards, and he’s not really on the fantasy radar heading into 2019 as a better real-life contributor than fantasy asset.

Drew Brees is officially inactive for Week 17.
Teddy Bridgewater is getting the start for New Orleans, so this was obviously expected. Brees’ season ends with 3,992 passing yards, 32 passing touchdowns, five interceptions, and an NFL-record 74.4% completion percentage (breaking his own record). Brees also had four rushing touchdowns. Fantasy wise, Brees had some down weeks particularly late in the season during fantasy playoffs, but he was again a strong QB1 and a steal for those that grabbed him in the final rounds. This is the first season Brees didn’t hit 4,000 passing yards with the Saints, but he’s looking to get his second Super Bowl ring after a playoff run that runs through the Superdome in th NFC.

Ron Rivera says he wants to be “smart” with Christian McCaffrey in Week 17.
McCaffrey looks set to play in the season finale, but it sounds like he might not get a heavy workload after already accumulating 321 touches through 15 games this year. The second-year running back is 155 receiving yards from a 1,000/1,000 season, but that Panthers aren’t worried about him getting that mark. However, all indications are that he’s at least going to play, so it might be hard to bench one of the best players in fantasy even if his workload is scaled back to ensure he’s healthy for 2019. McCaffrey remains an RB1 option with fantasy titles on the line this weekend.

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 17.
The Texans probably have an eye toward the postseason for Coutee’s return to the lineup. The rookie receiver’s season ends with 28 receptions for 287 yards and one touchdown in six games. He’ll look to get healthy and stay healthy for a postseason run.

Mike Wallace (ankle) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Expect Wallace to be limited the next two days as he looks to return from injured reserve and help the Eagles for a potential playoff run. Wallace is not a recommended fantasy pickup with one week to go in the regular season.
12/26/18 - 03:37 PM ET
Spencer Ware (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 17.
Ware practiced fully all week, but the Chiefs might not want to rush things if Ware isn’t at 100% full strength with the playoffs coming up. Kansas City plays in the late-afternoon slate of games on Sunday, so if you plan on starting Ware be sure to have a backup plan in place in case he’s inactive.
