Todd Gurley (knee) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Gurley will understandably not be pushed as Los Angeles takes on the last-place Cardinals, so his season ends with 256 carries for 1,251 yards (4.9 YPC) and 17 touchdowns. The superstar back—who leads the league with 21 touchdowns—also chipped in 59/580/4 receiving line as the centerpiece of Sean McVay’s offense, and he is fully expected to return for the playoffs, which most likely will begin in the NFC Divisional Round for the Rams. Expect C.J. Anderson to have another big day this weekend.

Blake Bortles throws one interception in Week 17.

Bortles was 15/28 for 107 yards and an interception along with four carries for 15 yards against the Texans. His season ends with 2,718 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions along with 58 carries for 365 yards and one touchdown in 13 games. Bortles signed a contract extension last offseason, but he’s an obvious trade candidate that might even be cut outright if the Jags just want to move on, as he didn’t take the step forward the team was hoping for. But with a big dead cap hit if he’s cut, Jacksonville will likely just keep him on the roster even if he isn’t the starter. The Jaguars quarterback situation is one of the most intriguing storylines for the 2019 offseason.

Jermaine Kearse (Achilles) has officially been ruled out for Week 17.

Kearse’s season ends with 37 receptions for 371 yards and one touchdown in 14 games. The veteran receiver is set to become a free agent this offseason, and it’ll be interesting to see if the Jets bring him back for a role in an offense led by young quarterback Sam Darnold.

DeSean Jackson (Achilles) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Jackson’s season ends with 41 receptions for 774 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games. The veteran receiver was absolutely on-fire to start the season, with 112+ yards in three of his first four games including lines of 5/146/2 and 4/129/1 in the first two weeks of the season. Jackson is said to want to play for another team in 2019, and we would be surprised if that didn’t happen. Regardless of where Jackson plays, he’ll likely be a later-round pick in 2019 fantasy drafts.

Jared Cook catches two passes against the Broncos.

Cook gained 20 yards on his two receptions in the Raiders’ Christmas Eve win. Cook has just 43 combined yards the past two weeks after back-to-back 100-yard games, so he’ll look to end the season on a high note next week against the Chiefs. Cook had 100 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs back in Week 13.

Leonard Fournette (ankle/foot) is listed as doubtful for Week 17.

This has not been a good season for Fournette and the Jaguars, and it looks like the second-year running back won’t hit the field agin until next season. Expect Fournette to be ruled out at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

Blake Bortles will start at quarterback for the Jaguars in Week 17.

After not playing the previous three games prior to last Sunday when he entered the game for Cody Kessler, Bortles is back as the starter to end the regular season. The Texans are a beatable secondary, but Bortles is obviously very difficult to trust in fantasy lineups with titles on the line against them this week. This could be Bortles’ final start with the Jaguars, but the quarterback situation is up in the air as the 2019 offseason approaches.
