Leonard Fournette | Free Agent RB

Leonard Fournette handles 21 touches in Week 16 win.

Fournette rushed 18 times for 43 yards and a touchdown, also adding three receptions for 28 yards. The LSU product carried significant risk entering the game after barely playing in the second half of Week 15’s loss, but despite efficiency issues, fantasy owners who rolled with him were rewarded with a short touchdown in the first quarter. Fournette will look to carry Jacksonville to an upset over the Texans next week, but the risk keeps him on the low-end RB2/FLEX radar.

Carlos Hyde | Free Agent RB

Carlos Hyde rushed eight times for 47 yards in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins.

Hyde was inactive in Week 15, but he returned to lead the team in rushing ahead of Leonard Fournette (18 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown). Still, unless Fournette is a surprise scratch next week in order to keep him healthy, fantasy owners can look elsewhere for the season finale.

Dede Westbrook | Free Agent WR

Dede Westbrook caught seven passes for 45 yards in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins.

He also added a nine-yard rush and threw one pass, which fell incomplete. Westbrook has emerged as the team’s No. 1 receiver, but fantasy owners are probably looking towards 2019 for him to pay dividends. That said, Houston is a great matchup next Sunday, and he will be on the FLEX radar no matter who is under center between Blake Bortles and Cody Kessler.

12/24/18 - 10:24 AM ET

Blake Bortles | Retired QB

Blake Bortles makes relief appearance in Week 16 win.

Replacing a banged-up Cody Kessler (shoulder), Bortles was five-of-six for 39 yards, also adding four carries for 25 yards. The Jaguars were able to end the playoff hopes for Miami on Sunday, and if he starts next week, Bortles might get a chance to ruin Houston’s bid for an AFC South crown. Despite their struggles in the secondary, though, fantasy owners would have to be pretty bold to trust Bortles in a fantasy title bid.

12/24/18 - 10:20 AM ET

Cody Kessler | Free Agent QB

Cody Kessler (shoulder) leaves Week 16 win, but Jaguars beat the Dolphins, 17-7.

Kessler was 12/17 for 106 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding a two-yard rush. The USC product left the game and returned before giving way to Blake Bortles. It was officially the second win of the year for Kessler, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Bortles close things out next week against Houston. If Kessler draws another start, he won’t be a strong fantasy option.

12/24/18 - 10:17 AM ET

Jameis Winston | Giants QB

Jameis Winston loses two fumbles in Week 16.

Winston was 34/48 for 336 yards and one touchdown along with four carries for 14 yards and two fumbles lost (including one for a defensive touchdown) against the Cowboys. While the passing numbers are strong, this wasn’t a great showing for Winston, who again showed some inaccuracy and carelessness with the ball. The touchdown came in the fourth quarter when Mike Evans got wide-open in the end zone and made a contested catch. Winston concludes the regulars season—and potentially his Bucs career—next week against the Falcons.

12/24/18 - 10:10 AM ET

Richard Rodgers | Free Agent TE

Richard Rodgers catches one pass in Week 16.

Rodgers gained seven yards on his lone reception versus Houston. This was the former Packers’ first reception with the Eagles, as he’s spent most of the season on injured reserve.
