Vyncint Smith scores in Week 16.

Smith was targeted one time against the Eagles, but he made it count by making a nice catch in the back of the end zone for a 35-yard touchdown. The score put the Texans up with 2:04 remaining, but then the Eagles kicked a game-winning field goal on the next drive. This was the first career touchdown for the undrafted rookie receiver from Limestone College, so congrats to him on hopefully the first of many.

DeAndre Carter catches six passes against the Eagles.

Carter gained 61 yards on his six receptions in the Texans’ Week 16 loss. It was a solid performance, but Carter probably would’ve loved to get a win against his former team. Carter could have a bigger role next week and into the postseason with Demaryius Thomas (Achilles) likely done for the season, but Keke Coutee (hamstring) could be close to a return.

Elijhaa Penny handles one touch in Week 16 loss.

It was a five-yard reception. Penny can stay on the waiver wire heading into the season finale.

DeAndre Hopkins goes over 100 yards against the Eagles.

Hopkins caught nine passes for 104 yards in the Texans’ Week 16 loss. As usual, Hopkins made spectacular catches—mainly working at the sideline. He did have his first drop of the season, ruining what might’ve been a perfect season if he can go without a drop in Week 17. Hopkins has a tough matchup with the Jags to conclude the regular season, but he obviously must remain in fantasy lineups with titles on the line.

Cody Latimer catches ten-yard pass in loss to the Colts.

It was his only reception of the game. Latimer isn’t a recommended fantasy option for the season finale against the Cowboys.

Scott Simonson finds the end zone in Week 16 loss.

Simonson caught three passes for 16 yards, including three-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It was the first score of Simonson’s career. Fantasy owners can look elsewhere in Week 17.

Rhett Ellison caught two passes for 18 yards in Sunday’s loss to Indianapolis.

Ellison is off the fantasy radar with Evan Engram re-emerging in recent weeks, but the veteran will look to finish strong next week against the Cowboys.
