Join now >Sterling Shepard (quad) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight.
Shepard was injured in the first half and was initially called questionable with a thigh issue, but now he’s out with a quad. Before leaving, Shepard had four receptions for 25 yards. He’s unfortunately had trouble staying healthy, but hopefully he doesn’t miss much time with this quad issue.

Tutu Atwell will have season-ending shoulder surgery.
Atwell did not catch a pass on offense this season, but he contributed on special teams as a kick and punt returner. The rookie second-round pick will look to get to full strength for training camp next year. We wish him luck on his rehab and recovery.

Sterling Shepard (hamstring) is officially active for Week 8.
Shepard is good to go for tonight’s matchup with the Chiefs despite being listed as questionable due to his lingering hamstring issue. Hopefully Shepard has but the hammy behind him and will be full go for Monday Night Football.

Kadarius Toney (ankle) is officially active for Monday night.
Toney looked good in practice this week and is back in the lineup for the Giants against a Chiefs team they might need to put up some points against. The rookie receiver is on the FLEX radar to close out Week 8 tonight.

The Jaguars claimed Devine Ozigbo.
Ozigbo, recently waived by the Saints, was with the Jaguars in each of the past two seasons, so there’s familiarity here. With James Robinson (ankle) banged up, Ozigbo will help with running back depth in Jacksonville.

Allen Lazard has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Lazard was a close contact of Davante Adams last week, but he’s now allowed to return. The Packers won’t have Robert Tonyan (knee) for the rest of the year, but their depth chart at wide receiver should at least be all full strength in Week 9 versus the Chiefs assuming Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) are also back.

The Colts released Brett Hundley.
Hundley appeared to have a good stretch in practice after joining the Colts earlier this season, but the team is now going in another direction. The UCLA product shouldn’t have much trouble landing with another squad soon.
