Corey Davis | Free Agent WR

Corey Davis catches three passes in Titans’ win.

Davis gained 33 yards on his three Week 15 receptions against the Giants. The Titans passed for just 88 yards in the game, so this was about as good as you could expect Davis to do given the overall passing output. The second-year receiver did have a missed opportunity on an out-breaking route where he didn’t get out of his break to get his head around in time for a nicely thrown ball, but it wasn’t a huge error. Davis will look to do more damage this Saturday against the Redskins. He remains just a FLEX option in fantasy title games.

Trey Burton | Free Agent TE

Trey Burton catches two passes against the Rams.

Burton gained 22 yards on his two Week 14 receptions, including a nice 17-yard catch where he made a nice grab on a back-shoulder throw over the middle. Burton hasn’t been able to get much going recently, and he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option in the second week of the fantasy playoffs when he faces a Packers team that shut him down in Week 1.

Dion Lewis | Free Agent RB

Dion Lewis gets ten touches in Week 15.

Lewis carried seven times for 35 yards and caught three passes for nine yards against the Giants. Derrick Henry received a season-high 33 carries in the win, as Lewis is clearly the change-of-pace option heading into the final two games of the regular season. There are probably better options for your lineup entering fantasy championships.

Marcus Murphy | Free Agent RB

Marcus Murphy (arm) is doubtful to return for the Bills.

Murphy appeared to suffer an elbow injury, and the doubtful designation obviously indicates he probably won’t return against the Lions. Before leaving, Murphy had 11 carries for 35 yards while working as the top Bills running back with LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory both inactive. Keith Ford, and underfed rookie from Texas A&M could be set for a heavy workload for the rest of today.

12/16/18 - 02:11 PM ET

Derrick Henry | Ravens RB

Derrick Henry rolls to another big game in Titans’ Week 15 win.

Henry carried 33 times for 170 yards and two touchdowns along with one reception for no yards and one completion for six yards. While many people inexplicably looked at Henry’s huge 238-yard, four-touchdown outburst two Thursdays ago as some type of fluke, the former Heisman Trophy winner continues to show that he probably should’ve been getting a big workload all season. Henry is simply a monstrous runner that has underrated elusiveness and great speed to run away from defenders as well as punish them. He’s been gashing defenses the last two weeks, and he should keep it going this Saturday afternoon against the Redskins. Hopefully you remained patient with Henry and kept him on your team, because he looks like a solid RB1 that could win a lot of people fantasy titles this season. Henry now has 50 carries for 408 yards and six touchdowns the last two weeks, and he’s just 118 yards away from 1,000 rushing for the season despite working as a secondary back for much of the year. He’s averaging 5.0 yards per carry with 11 touchdowns this season.

Carson Wentz | Free Agent QB

Carson Wentz (back) is not expect to play in Week 15, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said at his morning press conference just a bit ago that Wentz would not practice today (indicating to rest the back, which didn’t seem to be a big issue) and would be reevaluated tomorrow. However, it appears Philadelphia is playing it safe with their franchise quarterback, which is a bit of a surprise considering they are still in the wild-card race. Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles is obviously more than capable, though, and it’ll be interesting to see how he fares for an offense that hasn’t been as good as it was last season. The switch from Wentz to Foles is probably an upgrade for Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor, and perhaps Golden Tate, while it might be a slight downgrade for Zach Ertz, who would get locked-on by Wentz often. Foles gives his receivers opportunities to make plays in tight coverage. He’s immediately in the strong QB2 mix in a game that could be a shootout in LA, which is where he entered the lineup last season before leading the Eagles to their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Marcus Mariota | Commanders QB

Marcus Mariota throws for under 100 yards in Week 15.

Mariota was 12/20 for 88 yards along with two carries for 11 yards against the Giants. The gameplan called for a heavy dose of Derrick Henry, and Mariota played a fine game despite not hitting the century-mark in passing. Tennessee’s franchise quarterback’s highlight of the day was probably his great block on Giants linebacker Alec Ogletree to help spring a Derrick Henry run down the sideline. Mariota has been a boom/bust fantasy option, and he’s a better real-life quarterback than he is a trusted fantasy asset entering fantasy title matchups. He faces the Redskins this Saturday afternoon.
