Join now >Frank Gore’s injury is officially an ankle injury.
The Dolphins say Gore is questionable to return, so that’s a good sign that he hasn’t been reeled out immediately with the injury. We’ll update you if Gore is able to get back out there today against the Vikings.

Eli Manning, Giants get shutout in loss to the Titans.
Manning was 21/44 for 229 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. New York had to deal with the elements, but Tennessee’s defense also came to play, and a goal-line stand in the fourth quarter preserved a shutout. Eli will look to finish strong over the final two weeks (@ IND, v DAL), but he won’t be a recommended fantasy option in two-quarterback leagues.

Allen Robinson catches five passes against the Rams.
Robinson gained 42 yards on his five receptions in Chicago’s Week 14 victory. A-Rob nearly had a touchdown on a diving attempt to the end zone, but it was ruled he stepped out of bounds after a review. Allen should offer a pretty good floor next week against Green Bay for the second week of the fantasy playoffs.

Cody Core catches one pass against the Raiders.
Core gained ten yards on his lone reception in the Bengals’ Week 15 win. Core might step up as Jeff Driskel’s preferred option with Tyler Boyd (knee) likely to miss at least Week 16, but he isn’t a highly-recommended pickup-and-play in the fantasy playoffs.

Frank Gore leaves game with apparent lower leg injury.
Gore appeared to get rolled up on, and he needed to be helped to the sideline while limping very badly. The future Hall of Fame running back is one of the toughest players in the league, so he probably wouldn’t be limping this badly if he was just nicked up. Still, hopefully this is something he’s able to play through. If not, Kenyan Drake and Brandon Bolden will handle most of the backfield touches moving forward today against Minnesota.

Donte Moncrief held without a catch in loss to the Redskins.
He was targeted twice, but Dede Westbrook was the only wideout to record a receptions. Moncrief can stay on the waiver wire for the fantasy championship.

Joe Flacco will officially serve as the backup quarterback for the Ravens.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh just made the announcement that rookie Lamar Jackson will remain the starter with Flacco backing him up. It looked like Harbaugh might have had some slight trouble with the announcement, which isn’t surprising considering the two joined forces together in 2008 when Flacco was drafted in Harbaugh’s first year. Flacco might get some time as a situational passer because he’s more advanced than Jackson at this point, but it sounds like Jackson might get all the snaps. It’s an unfortunate situation for the former Super Bowl MVP (especially considering he lost his long-time starting job after an injury), but he’ll handle it well and with class. Flacco will remain ready to contribute if called upon this season.
