Calvin Ridley | Titans WR

Calvin Ridley catches one pass in Falcons’ Week 14 loss.

Ridley gained ten yards on his lone reception against the Packers, as he caught a pass over the middle he took for ten yards. The rookie receiver has been held under 40 yards in four of his last five games, so he’s in a bit of a lull late in his rookie season here. Ridley will look to have a strong showing next week against the Cardinals, and it’s possible he gets a bigger workload if Patrick Peterson shadows Julio Jones.

Jarvis Landry | Free Agent WR

Jarvis Landry does it all in win over the Panthers.

Landry caught three passes for 57 yards and a touchdown, also adding two carries for 54 yards and a score. He even got to throw a pass to Nick Chubb in the end zone, but it was incomplete. The first score was a three-yard run on the game’s opening possession, and he had another rush for 51 yards later in the game on a similar misdirection play. The highlight, though, was a 51-yard touchdown catch in double coverage that Baker Mayfield dropped in between two defenders. The matchup will be tougher next week in Denver, but Landry gets a boost with Chris Harris Jr. (leg) out.

12/10/18 - 09:23 AM ET

Eric Saubert | Seahawks TE

Eric Saubert catches two passes in Falcons’ loss.

Saubert gained 15 yards on his two receptions against Green Bay. If Austin Hooper misses time with the knee injury suffered at the end of the game, Saubert could deliver some fantasy value moving forward; but there are probably better options in the fantasy playoffs.

12/10/18 - 10:13 AM ET

Adam Humphries | Free Agent WR

Adam Humphries catches four passes in Week 14.

Humphries gained 42 yards on his four receptions against the Saints. This breaks Humphries’ three-game streak with a touchdown and his six-game streak with at least 50 yards. He gets a difficult matchup with the Ravens in the second week of the fantasy playoffs.

12/10/18 - 09:21 AM ET

Justin Hardy | Bears WR

Justin Hardy scores against the Packers.

Hardy caught three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 14 loss, with the score coming on a 19-yarder down the deep middle part of the field at the end of the game. Hardy is a better real-life contributor for the Falcons than he is a recommended fantasy option right now.

12/10/18 - 10:12 AM ET

Baker Mayfield | Buccaneers QB

Baker Mayfield, Browns keep slim playoff hopes alive with 26-20 victory over the Panthers.

Mayfield was 18/22 for 238 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, also adding four carries for two yards. The numbers weren’t flashy, but Baker dropped a couple dimes—including a 51-yard touchdown to Jarvis Landry in double coverage—and took care of the ball in a close win. He also displayed his overlooked arm strength with a 66-yard bomb to Breshad Perriman on the team’s opening possession, which set up a Landry rushing score. Fans will get to see Mayfield in action against the Broncos next Saturday night in what looks like an elimination game, but the game being in Denver leaves him as a low-end QB2 option.

12/10/18 - 09:20 AM ET

Austin Hooper | Patriots TE

Austin Hooper catches four passes in Week 14.

Hooper gained 37 yards on his four receptions against the Packers. At the end of the game, Hooper left with a knee injury, but the game was out of hand with little time left, so it’s not surprising he didn’t return. Now we just have to hope this injury doesn’t force him to miss Week 15 and beyond, so we’ll track his practice status leading up to next weekend against Arizona.
