Devin Funchess | Free Agent TE

Devin Funchess held without a catch in Week 14 loss.

Funchess was targeted just three times, and his struggles continue as Carolina falls to 6-7. The final offensive play of the game for the Panthers came on an inaccurate pass by Cam Newton to Funchess that was intercepted. The big-bodied wideout gets a great matchup against New Orleans next week, but he won’t be a strong fantasy option.

Tommylee Lewis | Panthers WR

Tommylee Lewis catches one pass in Week 14.

Lewis gained 20 yards on his lone reception against the Buccaneers. The speedy receiver probably needs a score to deliver fantasy value, so he’s not a highly-recommended option in Week 15 against the Panthers.

12/10/18 - 09:13 AM ET

Curtis Samuel | Bills WR

Curtis Samuel stays hot as Panthers fall to 6-7.

Samuel caught four passes for 80 yards in the loss, and he’s now gone for lines of 5/55/1, 2/17/1, 6/88, and 4/80 over the past four games. It has been good to see the explosive second-year wideout involved more, so we will see if that remains the case in a huge Week 15 game against the Saints on Monday Night Football. Samuel should be on the FLEX radar.

12/10/18 - 09:13 AM ET

Keith Kirkwood | Free Agent WR

Keith Kirkwood catches two passes against the Bucs.

Kirkwood gained 21 yards on his two receptions (two targets) in the Saints’ Week 14 win. Kirkwood has weekly upside playing in a Drew Brees-led offense, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

12/10/18 - 09:12 AM ET

Benjamin Watson | Retired TE

Benjamin Watson catches three passes in Week 14.

Watson gained 24 yards on his three receptions versus Tampa Bay. The veteran tight end worked as the top tight end with Dan Arnold inactive in the rainy conditions, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option at the moment. Next week against the Panthers is a good matchup, though.

12/10/18 - 09:11 AM ET

Michael Thomas | Free Agent WR

Michael Thomas catches 11 passes in Week 14.

Thomas gained 98 yards on his 11 receptions against the Bucs, as the connection between he and Drew Brees was again exceptional. There was a sideline play where Thomas looked to maybe have a catch, but it was controversially ruled incomplete. Still, it was strong showing for the third-year receiver, who crossed 100 receptions and 1,200 yards for the second straight season with this showing. Thomas will again be one of the top options for the second week of the fantasy playoffs.

12/10/18 - 09:10 AM ET

D.J. Moore | Bears WR

D.J. Moore handles six touches in Week 14 loss.

Moore caught five passes for 67 yards and rushed once for no gain. Carolina’s first-round pick was tied for second on the team with eight targets, but Curtis Samuel (4/80) again had the more productive day. Fortunately, Moore gets three great matchups to close out the year (v NO, v ATL, @ NO), so he should remain a low-end WR2/FLEX option.
