James Develin scores twice against the Vikings.

Develin punched in a couple of goal-line carries for the Patriots in their Week 13 win, and overall he had four carries for five yards and two touchdowns along with one reception for nine yards. It would be unwise to pick up Develin and expect this to happen every week, but he’s a good team player that deserves to find the end zone every once in a while.

Cody Kessler plays well in Jaguars’ Week 13 win.

Kessler was 18/24 for 150 yards along with five carries for 28 yards in the 6-0 victory against the Colts. Kessler certainly didn’t carry the offense, but he played well and avoided mistakes in a defensive battle; he also made plays with his legs to extend drives. Kessler isn’t a fantasy option, but it’ll be interesting to see how he plays over the final quarter of the season. He gets the Titans next on Thursdays night.

Trent Taylor catches 11-yard pass in Week 13 loss.

It was his only grab of the game. Taylor isn’t a recommended fantasy option for the 2-10 49ers.

Lamar Miller goes over 100 yards again as Texans improve to 9-3.

Miller rushed 19 times for 103 yards, also adding a 12-yard reception in the victory. Houston was forced to settle for five field goals on Sunday, but Miller now has four 100-yard games over the past six weeks, and he has really emerged as a strong RB2 heading into the fantasy playoffs. Look for Miller to stay hot against the Colts in Week 14.

Cordarrelle Patterson gets three offensive touches in Week 13.

Patterson played well against his former Vikings team, catching two passes for 53 yards and carrying once for six yards. His receptions went for 29 and 24 yards, including a great sliding catch where he did an excellent job of keeping the ball off the ground to secure a reception. Patterson is playing well for the Patriots, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option heading into fantasy playoff matchups.

Deshaun Watson, Texans win ninth game in a row.

Watson was 22/31 for 224 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions in a 29-13 victory over Cleveland, also adding seven carries for 30 yards. Failure to convert for touchdowns in Browns territory led to a slightly frustrating fantasy day for Watson, but Houston sits comfortably atop the AFC South at 9-3. While more of a low-end QB1 with less than 240 passing yards in every game since Week 6, the 23-year-old has a ton of upside in the fantasy playoffs, including next week in a rematch against the Colts.

Kyle Juszczyk caught three passes for 20 yards in San Francisco’s loss to the Seahawks.

Juszczyk has 26 receptions for 285 yards and a score this season, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option.
