Join now >The Raiders promoted Saeed Blacknall to the active roster.
Blacknall is an undrafted rookie from Penn State that’s worked his way from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Blacknall is a big target with big-play ability, and he’s an intriguing player in deep dynasty leagues.

The Panthers waived C.J. Anderson.
Anderson received two carries last Thursday night and has been squarely behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey in Carolina’s backfield. Anderson had just 24 carries with the Panthers, and now he’ll look to land with another team. He’s just 27 and shouldn’t have much trouble signing elsewhere.

The Raiders signed ArDarius Stewart to the practice squad.
The Alabama product was just drafted in the third round by the Jets in 2017, and he’ll look to work his way into a spot on the 53-man roster with the Raiders. He doesn’t need to be owned in dynasty leagues right now.

Marvin Jones (knee) is considered day-to-day.
There didn’t appear to be much concern about Jones suffering a serious knee injury in yesterday’s game, so this was expected. For now, consider Jones questionable to face the Panthers on Sunday.

The Panthers claimed Kenjon Barner.
Barner started his career with the Panthers after being drafted in the sixth-round in 2013, and he rejoins the franchise to help backup Christian McCaffrey. The Oregon product might be able to carve out a nice role in the offense, especially with C.J. Anderson released earlier this week, but none of Carolina’s backup running backs are fantasy options behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey.

Golden Tate sees limited action in Eagles debut.
Tate caught two-of-four targets for 19 yards against the Cowboys, which was definitely a surprise considering Philadelphia traded a third-round pick for him and had the bye week to incorporate the Notre Dame product into the offense. Look for Tate to have a bigger role next week in another huge game—this time against the Saints in New Orleans—but he’s a somewhat risky FLEX option as a secondary option behind Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz.

The Dolphins signed wide receiver Brice Butler.
Miami is dealing with a bunch of injuries at receiver, and Butler has played well when given opportunities in Oakland and Dallas. He’ll look to carve out a role in Adam Gase’s offense, but he’s not a recommended fantasy pickup right now.
