Kerryon Johnson | Free Agent RB

Kerryon Johnson scores twice on 20 touches as Detroit falls to 3-6.

Johnson rushed 14 times for 51 yards and a touchdown, also adding six receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown while losing a fumble. The rookie was able to find the end zone on a one-yard run to end the first half, but the Lions couldn’t really come close to overcoming their 26-0 deficit, and his second score came on a 13-yard reception on the team’s final drive of the game. The yards per carry have dipped over the past three weeks as opponent’s focus on stopping Johnson, but his individual talent and involvement as a receiver should keep him on the RB2 radar down the stretch. Detroit will look to bounce back in Week 11 against the Panthers.

Marcus Murphy | Free Agent RB

Marcus Murphy gets 14 carries in Week 10.

Murphy gained 69 yards on his 14 attempts in the Bills’ win against the Jets. This was a career-high in carries for the 27-year-old, and he did well with his opportunities, but it was LeSean McCoy (113 yards, two touchdowns) that did most of the damage for the Bills on the ground. Murphy isn’t a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

LeSean McCoy | Retired RB

LeSean McCoy scores twice against the Jets.

After combining for 24 carries for 24 yards the past three weeks, McCoy exploded for 26 carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns along with one reception for five yards against a struggling Jets team. The first score was a 28-yard touchdown early in the game, and he later added a one-yard score. These were McCoy’s first two touchdowns of the season, so he was due. Now the Bills have a bye week to give the veteran running back time to rest and get ready for the final six games of the season.

11/12/18 - 09:06 AM ET

Matthew Stafford | Rams QB

Matthew Stafford, Lions fall to 3-6 with 34-22 loss to the Bears.

Stafford was 25/42 for 274 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, also adding two carries for nine yards. Detroit faced a 26-7 halftime deficit, and it could have been even worse if Chicago didn’t miss four kicks. Now, Matt Patricia’s squad is three games back in the NFC North heading into a matchup with the sure-to-bounce-back Panthers, and then they’ll have a rematch with the Bears on Thanksgiving. Stafford is probably nothing more than a decent QB2 the rest of the way.

11/12/18 - 09:04 AM ET

J.J. Nelson | Free Agent WR

J.J. Nelson gets one touch in Week 10.

Nelson had one carry for -10 yards against the Chiefs. This was with Chad Williams out of the lineup, so it’s extremely difficult to trust Nelson even in deeper leagues right now. He does offer some upside next week against the Raiders, though.

11/12/18 - 08:11 AM ET

Logan Thomas | 49ers TE

Logan Thomas throws a pass in Week 10.

Thomas went 1/1 for 15 yards along with one reception for one yard against the Jets. The former Virginia Tech quarterback hadn’t thrown a pass since 2014 with the Cardinals, so it probably felt good for him to do it and get a completion. Thomas isn’t a fantasy option in redraft leagues at the moment.

11/12/18 - 08:49 AM ET

Chase Edmonds | Free Agent RB

Chase Edmonds gets two carries in Week 10.

Edmonds gained seven yards on his two attempts, including a carry deep in the red zone in the third quarter, but David Johnson (28 touches, two touchdowns) then punched it in for six. The rookie running back is just a handcuff for Johnson at the moment.
