Join now >Matt Barkley plays well in first start of 2018.
With the Bills offense struggling this season and Josh Allen (right elbow) still out of the lineup, the team turned to Barkley despite just signing him on Halloween. The former USC quarterback showed the flashes that made him once considered a potential No. 1 overall pick in the draft, as he went 15/25 for 232 yards and two touchdowns. The touchdowns were to big offensive tackle Dion Dawkins for seven yards on a funny play and to Zay Jones on a play where Barkley calmly bought time with great pass protection and found his receiver in the end zone. Barkley nearly had another touchdown on a diving attempt at the end zone by Jones, who fumbled at the goal line and had it recovered by teammate Jason Croom. The Bills had a great gameplay against the Jets, who did not play well, but Barkley deserves a ton of credit for quickly picking up a new offense and doing a good job. The Bills have a bye next week, and Allen is expected back in Week 12. However, Barkley likely earned strong consideration for the long-term backup job with this performance.

David Johnson scores twice in Week 10.
Coming off the bye, this was clearly the best usage of David Johnson all season. He was heavily involved as both a runner and a receiver for the Cardinals, who made an effort to get their star running back the ball. Johnson carried 21 times for 98 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. The first score was on a swing pass in the red zone in the first quarter, and the second was a one-yard run in the third quarter. Kansas City was a great matchup for DJ, but this game was still a major positive; and Johnson gets another great matchup next week against Oakland, so the buy-low window is probably closed.

Anthony Sherman catches one pass in Week 10.
Sherman gained two yards against the Cardinals. The Chiefs fullback is not a recommended fantasy option.

Josh Rosen throws two touchdowns in Cardinals’ loss.
Rosen was 22/39 for 208 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against the Chiefs. The touchdown was to a wide-open David Johnson on a quick swing pass deep in the red zone. The first interception was on a nice play by Justin Houston on a screen pass, and the second interception was forced into coverage toward the end of the game. Rosen was also sacked five times in the game, but he shouldn’t take as many hits against a struggling Raiders defense next week. He carries obvious risk, but Rosen has some upside against Oakland for Week 11.

Chris Conley catches one pass against the Cardinals.
Conley gained 22 yards on his lone Week 10 reception. The athletic receiver would have some FLEX appeal if Sammy Watkins (foot) misses next week against the Rams, but Watkins is expected back in the lineup.
11/12/18 - 08:39 AM ET
Cody Core catches both targets in Week 10.
Core gained 17 yards on his two receptions versus the Saints. Core might be set to benefit with the most playing time with A.J. Green (toe) out, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option right now.
11/12/18 - 07:58 AM ET
Demarcus Robinson catches three passes in Week 10.
Robinson gained 30 yards on his three receptions while helping fill in for Sammy Watkins (foot). If Watkins returns to the lineup as expected next week, it’d be difficult to trust Robinson in Week 11 fantasy lineups.
