Join now >Lamar Jackson stays involved as Baltimore drops to 4-5.
Jackson completed his lone pass for 12 yards, also adding five carries for ten yards. The former Heisman winner was used as an outlet receiver on a couple plays that he went in motion on, but Joe Flacco didn’t look his way in the red zone for what should have been an easy touchdown (though it’s worth noting that Jackson might not have been a read on the play at all). There’s a definite chance we see the rookie make starts this season if the Ravens don’t turn things around after their Week 10 bye.

Elijah McGuire plays well in 2018 debut.
After missing the Jets’ first eight games of the season because of a broken foot suffered in training camp, McGuire immediately gave a nice boost to the team’s backfield. He carried seven times for 30 yards and added three receptions (on five targets) for 37 yards, and he showed the explosiveness that makes the Jets excited about him. We expect the second-year running back will eventually become the starter over Isiah Crowell this season, so he’s worth a look as a pickup if available in your league.

Isaiah Crowell gets 14 touches against the Dolphins.
Crowell carried 13 times for 49 yards and added one reception for 11 yards in the Jets’ Week 9 loss. Second-year running back Elijah McGuire (ten touches, 67 yards) was impressive in his first action of 2018, and Crowell is probably in danger of losing the starting role soon. We recommend selling high on him if you can.

Joe Flacco, Ravens fall at home to the Steelers, 23-16.
Flacco was 23/37 for 206 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The former Super Bowl MVP just missed some throws in the loss, but he wasn’t helped much his his receivers, and Baltimore now sits at 4-5 heading into the bye week. There are reports that John Harbaugh is on the hot seat and an in-season coaching change hasn’t been ruled out, but it also wouldn’t be surprising—right or wrong—if Flacco is benched for Lamar Jackson despite mostly solid play this year. That seems like a stretch right now, but the Ravens need to get things figured out over the bye. Flacco should be considered a quality streaming option in Week 11 against the Bengals.

Sam Darnold throws four interceptions against the Dolphins.
Darnold was 21/39 for 229 yards and four interceptions in the Week 9 loss. It simply wasn’t a good game for the rookie quarterback, and things might not get easier next week against Sean McDermott’s Bills defense. The USC product just needs to show growth over the final seven games of the season, as it’s going to be tough for the Jets to make a playoff run at 3-6. Darnold is only a fantasy option in dynasty leagues for now.
11/5/18 - 09:39 AM ET
James Washington caught two passes for 17 yards in Sunday’s win over the Ravens.
Washington was inactive in Week 8, but he returned to the lineup against Baltimore. The second-round pick has just seven receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown so far this season, but his dynasty outlook remains bright.
11/5/18 - 09:25 AM ET
Ryan Switzer caught three passes for 21 yards in Sunday’s win over the Ravens.
Switzer continues to have a small offensive role, but he’s not worth considering for fantasy owners as the team’s main returner. We’ll see if the North Carolina product can make an impact against the Panthers on Thursday night.
