Join now >James Conner dominates on 31 touches as Steelers top the Ravens, 23-16.
Conner rushed 24 times for 107 yards, also adding seven receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown. The second-year back was able to catch a seven-yard touchdown pass over the middle in the first quarter, and he consistently picked up tough yardage the rest of the way against a stingy Baltimore front. At the season’s midway point, Conner is on pace for 302 carries for 1,412 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground and a 76/758/2 line through the air. It’s beginning to look more and more likely that Conner remains the clear workhorse for the entire season whether or not Le’Veon Bell returns (and he has a little over a week to do so if he wants to play in 2018), but at worst, the 23-year-old should have two more games as a high-end RB1 for fantasy owners. The Steelers take on the Panthers on Thursday night before a Sunday Night Football clash with the Jaguars.

Austin Hooper catches three passes in Falcons’ win.
Hooper gained 41 yards on his three receptions against the Redskins, including a nice reception where he made himself available for a scrambling Matt Ryan to pick up a first down. Through eight games, Hooper is on pace for 72 receptions, 724 yards, and four touchdowns, as the talk from Matt Ryan and the coaches about a potential third-year leap is happening. Hooper is a big part of Atlanta’s offense.

Mohamed Sanu catches four passes in Week 9.
Sanu gained 45 yards on his four receptions against the Redskins, including a key first-down reception where he powered through defenders to keep a drive going. Through eight games, Sanu is on pace for 56 receptions, 738 yards, and six touchdowns. The veteran receiver is more of an excellent real-life contributor than he is a great fantasy option in standard-sized leagues.

Julio Jones scores first touchdown of the season in Week 9.
Late in the fourth quarter, Jones caught a screen pass that he took 35 yards to the house, stretching and diving for the end zone as he wouldn’t be denied getting in the end zone for the first time this season. This is Jones’ first regular season touchdown since Week 12 of last season, but remember he had a big touchdown in the Wild Card Round against the Rams in January. Overall, Jones had seven receptions for 121 yards and one touchdown in the Week 9 win over the Falcons. Through eight games, Julio is on pace for a monster 120 receptions, 1,866 yards, and two touchdowns, but he should up that touchdown pace in the second half.

Joshua Dobbs completes a 22-yard pass in win over the Ravens.
Dobbs saw one snap when Big Ben went down after landing on his shoulder, and Pittsburgh trusted the second-year quarterback enough to let him rip one on 2nd-and-20 deep in their own territory, which he was able to convert with an accurate throw to JuJu Smith-Schuster. The Tennessee product will continue operating as the team’s No. 2 quarterback heading into Week 10.

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers take control of AFC North with 23-16 victory over the Ravens.
Roethlisberger was 28/47 for 270 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding two carries for four yards and a score. The first touchdown came on a seven-yard pass over the middle to James Conner, and then he found Antonio Brown for a screen pass from six yards out (both in the first half). Big Ben was able to get in on a quarterback sneak to start the second half, and that plus a field goal were enough to hold of Baltimore and advance to 5-2-1. At the midway point of the season, Roethlisberger is on pace for 5,120 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He should be a solid QB1 down the stretch, including this Thursday night in a great game against the Panthers.
11/5/18 - 08:56 AM ET
Calvin Ridley scores in Falcons’ win.
Ridley struggled early with a couple of drops and then didn’t break in his route which led to a Matt Ryan interception, but he bounced back and put in another strong performance. Ridley had six receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins, with the score coming on a 40-yard catch-and-run on a slant route where he showed his great acceleration and speed. He also had one carry for six yards. The rookie receiver is on pace for 66 receptions, 926 yards, and 14 touchdowns this season, as he’s immediately become a huge and important part of Atlanta’s offense. His presence has helped lead to Matt Ryan putting up numbers similar to his 2016 MVP campaign.
