Join now >Ito Smith scores against the Redskins.
Smith carried ten times for 60 yards and a touchdown and added one reception for four yards in Atlanta’s road win at Washington. Tevin Coleman and Smith paired to gash the Redskins throughout the game, and Smith’s score came on a red-zone carry. The rookie running back is on pace for 98 carries, 356 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns, 26 receptions, and 198 receiving yards at the midway point this season.

Tevin Coleman totals over 150 yards and two touchdowns against the Redskins.
Washington is one of the league’s toughest run defenses, but Coleman and Atlanta’s running game did damage throughout the afternoon. Coleman had 13 carries for 88 yards and five receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ Week 9 victory. Coleman showed his top-notch acceleration and exceptional athletic ability, routinely gashing the Redskins for chunk yardage. This performance should probably silence all the doubters that ignorantly question Coleman’s ability as a running back. Through eight games, Coleman is on pace for 190 carries, 796 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 40 receptions, 410 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns.

Matt Ryan throws four touchdowns in Falcons’ win.
Ryan was 26/38 for 350 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception against the Redskins, hitting Tevin Coleman for two touchdowns, Calvin Ridley for one touchdown, and Julio Jones for the final score. It was basically a flawless game for Matty Ice, who spread the ball to his weapons and allowed them to make plays. The interception came on a play where Ridley didn’t cut in front of the safety on his route, so it didn’t appear to be on Ryan. Through eight games, Ryan is on pace for 5,370 yards, 38 touchdowns, and six interceptions, which matches up well with his 2016 MVP season. He’s also on pace for 134 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. The 4-4 Falcons will look to continue their season turnaround when they face the Browns next week.

Ray-Ray McCloud III did not catch a pass in Week 9.
The rookie receiver from Clemson remains just a dynasty-league option for now, but he’ll look to have a bigger role in the final several weeks of the season.

Andre Holmes catches one pass in Bills’ loss.
Holmes gained six yards on his lone reception against the Bears. Holmes is a better real-life contributor to his team than he is a fantasy asset right now.
11/5/18 - 08:39 AM ET
Jason Croom catches three passes in Week 9.
Croom gained 36 yards on his three receptions, but he also lost a fumble that was returned 66 yards for a touchdown by Bears safety Eddie Jackson. Croom isn’t a recommended fantasy option at the moment.
11/5/18 - 08:38 AM ET
Charles Clay (hamstring) did not return against the Bears.
Clay was officially called questionable to return, but Logan Thomas and Jason Croom handled the tight end position for the Bills. Clay didn’t have any catches before leaving, and now we just have to hope this isn’t a multi-week injury.
