Demarcus Robinson catches one pass against the Broncos.

Robinson’s lone Week 8 receptions went for one yard. His role simply isn’t big enough to deliver reliable fantasy value right now.

Jordan Howard scores in Week 8.

Howard carried 22 times for 81 yards and a touchdown in Chicago’s 24-10 victory versus the Jets. The score came by the goal line to make it a two-possession game midway through the fourth quarter. Howard’s usage is likely to remain inconsistent, but he should be a solid option with 20-carry upside in games the Bears are favorites. He faces the Bills in Week 9.

Anthony Sherman catches one pass in Week 8.

Sherman’s lone reception went for ten yards. Kansas City’s fullback might put the ball in the end zone on occasion, and he’s a good real-life contributor for the Chiefs, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option.

Mitchell Trubisky throws two touchdowns in Bears’ win.

Trubisky was 16/29 for 220 yards and two touchdowns along with six carries for 51 yards against the Jets. The first touchdown was a 70-yard score on a screen pass to Tarik Cohen, and the second was a nice back-shoulder type of throw to Anthony Miller for four yards. The second-year quarterback has a tough matchup against Buffalo next week, making him a weaker QB1 option for Week 9. However, Trubisky’s rushing ability continues to give him a solid floor and ceiling in fantasy lineups.

Tyreek Hill catches three passes against the Broncos.

Hill gained 70 yards on his three receptions (four targets) in the Week 8 victory, but he did leave the game with a groin injury. Hopefully it’s just minor, but it’ll be something to keep an eye on throughout the upcoming week. Through eight games, Hill is on pace for 88 receptions, 1,410 receiving yards, 14 receiving touchdowns, 20 carries, and 90 rushing yards.

Neal Sterling catches one pass against the Bears.

Sterling gained seven yards one his lone Week 8 reception. He’s not a fantasy option at the moment.

Travis Kelce scores against the Broncos.

Kelce drew a team-high ten targets in the Chiefs’ Week 8 win, catching six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. The score came on an in-breaking route in the red zone. Through half the season, Kelce is on pace for 88 receptions, 1,284 yards, and eight touchdowns, which would all set or match career-highs.
