Join now >Ed Dickson scores in 2018 debut.
After missing Seattle’s first six games while on the non-football injury list with soft-tissue injuries, the former Ravens and Panthers tight end immediately made a big impact for Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. Dickson caught tow passes for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Lions. The score was a 12-yarder where he went up and got the ball over a defender on a corner route, and his other reception was a 42-yarder. This was just one game, but Dickson could be on his way to becoming at least a backend TE1 option in the second half of the season. He’s worth a look as a waiver wire pickup if you’re struggling at tight end.

Joe Flacco, Ravens struggle in 36-21 loss to the Panthers.
Flacco was 22/39 for 192 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, also adding 14 yards on two carries. Baltimore was able to get out to a 7-0 lead with an 11-play, 80-yard scoring drive to open the game, but they were held in check after that, as some drops and a couple offensive pass interference penalties impacted the offensive rhythm. The Ravens are now 4-4, and Flacco is on pace for 4,518 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions at the midway point of the season. He’ll be a decent streaming option back at home for next week’s huge afternoon matchup with the Steelers.

David Moore leads the Seahawks in Week 8 receiving.
Moore caught four passes (on four targets) for 97 yards and a touchdown, leading the Seahawks in receptions, targets, and yardage (and tied for touchdowns) against the Lions. The touchdown was a juggling catch for 15 yards. This makes it three straight weeks with a touchdown and four scores in the last three games for Moore. The 2017 seventh-round pick continues to play well, and he’s worth a pickup if you’re looking for a receiver. He’s at least a solid hold in dynasty leagues.
10/29/18 - 08:48 AM ET
Tyler Lockett scores again in Week 8.
Lockett caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown against the Lions, with the score coming on a 24-yard corner route. This makes it three straight weeks with a touchdown for Lockett, who has a score in six-of-seven games this season. The fourth-year receiver will look to keep it going next week against the Chargers, and he’s a FLEX option for Week 9.
10/29/18 - 08:44 AM ET
Mike Davis gets 11 touches in Seahawks’ win.
Davis carried ten times for 33 yards and added one reception for two yards against the Lions. Chris Carson handled 27 touches and is the clear leader in Seattle’s backfield, but Davis was clearly ahead of first-round rookie Rashaad Penny (zero touches). Davis is a deep-league FLEX option for Week 9 against the Chargers.
10/29/18 - 08:41 AM ET
Chris Carson scores in Seahawks’ win.
Coming off the bye, Carson again worked as Seattle’s workhorse, carrying 25 times for 105 yards and a touchdown along with two receptions for 19 yards. The second-year running back powered through three defenders for his touchdown—a seven-yarder—and overall he again ran the ball very well. First-round rookie Rashaad Penny didn’t receive a touch in the Week 8 victory, while Mike Davis received 11 touches behind Carson. Things could quickly change, but we don’t expect the Seahawks to go away from Carson. He’s a strong fantasy option versus the Chargers next week.
10/29/18 - 08:39 AM ET
Russell Wilson throws three touchdowns in Seahawks’ win.
Paired with a strong running game, Wilson play an extremely efficient game against the Lions, going 14/17 for 248 yards and three touchdowns along with two carries for 15 yards. The scores were to Ed Dickson, Tyler Lockett, and David Moore, as the veteran quarterback gave his guys opportunities to make plays on throws to the end zone. This was a great outing for Wilson off the bye, and he’ll look to keep it going in Week 9 against the Chargers. Remember, Wilson is traditionally a guy that plays better in the second half of seasons.
