Miller worked as the clear lead ball-carrier for Houston in their win at Jacksonville, carrying 22 times for 100 yards and a touchdown. He also caught one pass for -1 yards. Alfred Blue carried just eight times for 28 yards, so it appears Miller is back to being the team’s clear top option in the backfield. Miller is at least a strong FLEX option in a matchup with his former Dolphins team on Thursday night.

T.J. Yeldon scores in Week 7.
Yeldon carried 12 times for 28 yards and added five receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown against the Texans. The score was a spectacular diving catch in the end zone for Jacksonville’s only points of the game, but he also had a pass go off his hands (though it wasn’t an easy catch) for an interception. New running back Carlos Hyde is expected to be active for the Jags moving forward, so Yeldon’s workload is likely to decrease. Yeldon is more of just a PPR FLEX option moving forward.

Geoff Swaim suffers apparent knee injury against the Redskins.
Swaim took a hit right to the knee as it planted, and it has the look of a potentially serious injury. The 27-year-old had emerged as a consistent target in Dallas’ offense after years as more of a reserve player. Hopefully this injury isn’t as bad as it looks, but his day is almost certainly done. Before leaving, Swaim caught three passes for 25 yards.

Deshaun Watson throws one touchdown in Texans’ win.
The Texans were in total control the entire game against the Jaguars, winning their fourth straight game to take first place in the AFC South after an 0-3 start. Watson was 12/24 for 139 yards and one touchdown along with seven carries for 13 yards. The score was to DeAndre Hopkins on a ten-yard slant to put Houston up 20-0 in the third quarter. Watson and the Texans have a quick turnaround and face the Dolphins this Thursday night.

LeSean McCoy is in concussion protocol.
This explains the head injury McCoy left today’s game for earlier today. McCoy has over a week to clear concussion protocol and play next Monday night against the Patriots. If McCoy is unable to get cleared, Chris Ivory would fill in as Buffalo’s starting running back.

Cody Kessler gets opportunity in Week 7.
Blake Bortles was benched by the Jaguars in the third quarter, and Kessler was given an opportunity to lead a comeback against the Texans. Jacksonville couldn’t stage a comeback, but Kessler played well in the loss, going 21/30 for 156 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with two carries for eight yards. The score (the only points of the game for the Jags) was to T.J. Yeldon, who made a great one-handed catch in the end zone, on a scramble; and the interception went off the hands of Yeldon. Bortles is likely to take back the starting job in the London game against the Eagles next week, but Kessler is arguably the better option right now.

Matt Breida (ankle) has returned to the game for the Niners.
Breida will probably just continue to play through the pain like he has all season. He might be in and out of the game, but thankfully Breida appears to be fine.
