Join now >Chris Thompson (rib/knee) is inactive for Week 7.
This is the second straight missed game for Thompson, so Alex Smith is arguably without his top three targets on offense with Paul Richardson (shoulder/knee) and Jamison Crowder (ankle) also out against the Cowboys. Thompson probably isn’t that far from a return, so we’ll track him leading up to next week’s matchup with the Giants.

Kevin White nearly ties game for Bears against the Patriots.
White made his first two receptions of the season while getting more time for Allen Robinson, who was in and out of the lineup while dealing with his groin injury. The former first-round pick caught two passes for 64 yards, including a 54-yard reception on a Hail Mary attempt at the end of the game, coming just short of the goal line on the catch. We’ll see if White gets more playing time after taking advantage of his two targets with two receptions this week, but he’s not a fantasy option yet.

Adrian Peterson (ankle/shoulder) is officially active against the Cowboys.
Peterson was listed as questionable, but there was never any real concern about his Week 7 status. Dallas is a tough matchup, but you can insert Peterson into fantasy lineups as a solid RB2 option this week.

Will Fuller V leads the Texans in Week 7 receiving.
Fuller caught six passes (on eight targets) for 68 yards against the Jaguars. With Keke Coutee suffering a hamstring injury and likely to miss time, Fuller is a more appealing FLEX option as Deshaun Watson’s clear No. 2 receiver. Fuller faces the Dolphins and should avoid Miami’s star cornerback Xavien Howard on Thursday night.

Paul Richardson (shoulder/knee) is inactive against the Cowboys.
Richardson was listed as doubtful entering the weekend, so this was expected. With Jamison Crowder (ankle) also out, Alex Smith is down his top two receivers in a big NFC East matchup with the Cowboys.
10/21/18 - 02:58 PM ET
Trey Burton has huge game in loss to the Patriots.
Burton had his best game as a Bear, catching nine passes (on 11 targets) for 126 yards and a touchdown against the franchise he threw the “Philly Special” touchdown on in the Super Bowl last season. The touchdown arguably came on a push-off that got him basically wide-open, but the officials did not throw the flag. Burton now has a touchdown in three straight weeks (and four total on the season), and he remains an obvious TE1 option for Week 8.

Pierre Garcon (shoulder, knee) is officially active for Week 7.
The veteran receiver was again listed as questionable, but there wasn’t much doubt he’d be out there today against the Rams. Garcon is a risky fantasy option for Week 7.
