Join now >Alex Smith, Redskins bounce back with 23-17 victory over the Panthers.
Smith was 21/36 for 163 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the win, also adding six carries for 13 yards. Washington was demolished on the road last Monday night against the Saints, but they were able to get a big one at home to take first place in the NFC East. Smith threw both his scores in the first quarter to Vernon Davis (22 yards) and Paul Richardson (two yards), and he made the most of a banged-up supporting cast. The veteran will likely be a solid QB2 option when the Cowboys come to town next Sunday.

Terrell Pryor Sr. scores in Jets’ win.
Pryor made himself available for a seven-yard touchdown, making a contested catch between two defenders. Overall, Pryor caught five-of-six targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Week 6 win versus the Colts. Pryor has a touchdown in two straight weeks, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Jermaine Kearse leads the Jets in Week 6 receiving.
Kearse was targeted a team-high ten times against the Colts, catching nine passes for 94 yards in the Week 6 win. This more than doubled the veteran receiver’s season total coming into the game, and he could be getting more into the swing of things after missing the start of the season with a core muscle injury. Kearse faces the Vikings next week.

Torrey Smith scores in loss to the Redskins.
Smith caught five-of-five targets for 43 yards and a score, also adding a two-point conversion. The eight points for the veteran came on back-to-back plays in the fourth quarter that brought Carolina within a field goal, but Washington extended the lead to six points with their own field goal, and the Panthers ended up stalling in the red zone to end the game. Smith faces his former team next Sunday in Philadelphia, but isn’t a recommended fantasy option behind Christian McCaffrey, Devin Funchess, Greg Olsen, and D.J. Moore for looks.

Isaiah Crowell gets 15 touches against the Colts.
Crowell carried 13 times for 40 yards and added two receptions for 12 yards in the Week 6 victory. Meanwhile, Bilal Powell rushed 16 times for 59 yards. Hopefully you didn’t chase the points from Crowell’s franchise record performance last week. He’s a shaky FLEX option for Week 7 against the vikings.

Bilal Powell leads the Jets in Week 6 rushing.
Powell carried 16 times for 59 yards against the Colts, out-carrying and out-performing Isaiah Crowell (13 carries, 40 yards). Powell will likely have some big weeks, but he’s difficult to trust as more than an uninspiring FLEX option in fantasy lineups while he’s part of a committee backfield.
