Join now >Julio Jones goes over 140 yards against the Buccaneers.
Jones has killed Tampa Bay throughout his career, and he kept it going in Atlanta’s Week 6 victory, catching ten passes for 143 yards. As usual, the All-Pro was an exceptional target on all areas of the field making himself available and making contested catches for Matt Ryan. It looked like Jones was going to get in the end zone on a reception he took to inside the ten-yard line, but he ran out of room at the boundary. Jones is still looking to get into the end zone for the first time this season, but he still remains an elite WR1 every week.

Xavier Grimble caught two passes for 35 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.
Grimble caught both of his looks as Pittsburgh went to three tight end sets more than usual, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy option behind Vance McDonald and Jesse James when the Steelers return from their Week 7 bye.

O.J. Howard scores against the Falcons.
Howard worked as a reliable target in the Bucs’ Week 6 loss, catching all four targets for 62 yards and a touchdown. The score was on a ten-yard pass where the big second-year tight end used his frame to shield off the defender on a pass over the middle. Howard didn’t show any affects from the MCL sprain suffered in Week 4, as the bye week was enough time for him to heal up. Howard has at least 54 yards in each of his first four healthy games this season, and he’s on the TE1 radar for Week 7.

Ito Smith scores in Falcons’ win.
Smith carried 11 times for 22 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for -1 yards in the Week 6 victory against the Buccaneers. The score came on a first-half red zone carry in which the Bucs didn’t play good defense, basically allowing a walk-in touchdown. The rookie running back now has a touchdown in three straight games, and the coaching staff clearly trusts giving him a solid amount of work in the backfield. If Devonta Freeman (foot, groin) misses another game, Smith will be in the FLEX conversation for Week 7, particularly in deeper leagues.

Adam Humphries leads Buccaneers in Week 6 receiving.
Humphries was targeted four times against the Falcons, catching three passes for 82 yards. He had a long reception of 51 yards in the loss. It’s difficult to trust Humphries in fantasy lineups, but it’s good to see him continue to have a sizable role in a stacked receiving corps.

Vance McDonald rumbles to seven receptions for 68 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.
McDonald hauled in all but one of his eight targets in a huge victory over Cincinnati, as he was featured early and continued to be a force to bring down in the open field. There will be some disappointing games on a loaded offense, but McDonald is in a home-run spot against the Browns when Pittsburgh returns from their Week 7 bye, so fantasy owners hurting at tight end would be wise to look ahead.

Ronald Jones gets four touches in Week 6.
There was some thought that Jones might take over as the leader or at least a bigger role in Tampa Bay’s backfield coming off the bye, but it was Peyton Barber leading the group and playing well against the Falcons. Jones carried once for three yards and added three receptions for 16 yards in the Week 6 loss. Rojo is just a fantasy bench hold for now, but there’s no guarantee he becomes the leader in the backfield this season.
