Join now >Nick Vannett (back) was limited in today’s practice.
We’ll see how Vannett is listed on the official injury report for this Sunday’s London game when it’s released tomorrow, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says his starting tight end is fine. It sounds like they were just being cautious, so expect Vannett to be out there for Week 6.

DeVante Parker (quadricep) remains limited in practice.
Until Parker gets to a full practice participant, it’s hard to feel great about his game status. He’s likely headed for a questionable tag when the injury report is released tomorrow.

Frank Gore is expected to continue as the lead ball-carrier for the Dolphins.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports this is Miami’s plan, with Kenyan Drake mixing in “as more of a complementary runner and pass-catching threat.” This seemed evident based on the start of the season, as the team has given Gore more carries; and it’s also evident that the veteran running back does a good job of picking up positive yardage and not trying to do to much, which is what Adam Gase is looking for to keep his offense in positive situations. Drake is still the preferred fantasy option, but Gore offers FLEX upside in fantasy lineups.

Frank Gore is expected to remain the lead ball-carrier for the Dolphins.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald warns fantasy owners that in the upcoming weeks a Dolphins offense with “Gore carrying the load running the football. And Drake as more of a complementary runner and pass-catching threat” is what we’ll see until it stops working or injuries affect things. Salguero notes that while Gore will be the lead runner for Miami, Drake should continue to get many opportunities as a receiver in addition to working in as a runner. Dolphins head coach Adam Gase says that Gore moves forward for positive yardage while Drake can deliver game-changing plays. The bottom line is this is a committee backfield, so Drake is more of an RB2/FLEX option than an RB1/RB2 option many hoped he would be entering the season. However, the third-year back still offers a ton of upside each week as one of the best big-play threats in the NFL.

Greg Olsen (foot) was a full participant in today’s practice.
This is a major positive sign for the veteran tight end as he looks to make his return after missing the last three games. Assuming he suffers no setbacks, there’s a chance Olsen isn’t listed on the Week 6 injury report when it’s released tomorrow.

Randall Cobb (hamstring) is not practicing today.
Cobb is going to work with the rehab group as he looks to work his way back from the hamstring issue. Hopefully Cobb is able to get in at least a limited practice tomorrow or Saturday, but he’s questionable at best for Week 6 at the moment.

Geronimo Allison has cleared concussion protocol.
This is great to hear after Allison missed last Sunday’s game with his concussion. He’s still dealing with his hamstring injury, though, and he’s working with the rehab group for today’s practice. We’ll monitor his status the next two days ahead of the official injury report for Monday’s game being released on Saturday.
