Join now >Carson Wentz throws three touchdowns in Eagles’ Thursday night win.
Pass protection was shaky in the beginning, but the offensive line did a much better job overall of protecting Wentz than they have the last couple of weeks. Wentz was 26/36 for 278 yards and three touchdowns along with two carries for 14 yards. Two scores were to Alshon Jeffery—one to open the scoring on a dime to the end zone across his body while scrambling right, and the other on a quick screen at the goal line—and one was to Zach Ertz on a corner route. Wentz is throwing the ball well right now, and this was the team’s best offensive performance, as they put up 34 points to mark the first time this season they’ve scored 25+ points in a game. Wentz will be a strong QB1 option for Week 7 against the Panthers.

Cody Latimer (hamstring) is out for the rest of tonight’s game.
Latimer’s night ends with three receptions for 52 yards, including a 39-yarder where he made a nice play high-pointing the ball down the field. Hopefully Latimer is ready to go for a Monday night matchup with the Falcons after a mini bye week.

Corey Clement is expected to be on a snap count tonight.
FOX’s Erin Andrews said that Eagles head coach told her that Wendell Smallwood is going to get the start for the Eagles, while Clement will be on a pitch count against the Giants. Clement could certainly get in the end zone in tonight’s game, but he’s a less appealing FLEX option while on a pitch count. Meanwhile, Smallwood can be inserted into fantasy lineups as a solid RB2/FLEX option, as he’s been playing really well during his opportunities this season.

Rhett Ellison (foot) is inactive against the Eagles.
Ellison was limited in practice the last two days, but he’s not playing tonight. With Evan Engram (knee) also out, the passing game of the Giants is going to run through the wide receivers and Saquon Barkley.
10/11/18 - 07:07 PM ET
Matt Breida (shoulder, ankle) did not practice.
Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan said they’re hoping Breida might be able to play on Monday night, but he’s still considered doubtful at the moment. A limited practice tomorrow would be a good sign, though.
10/11/18 - 06:35 PM ET
Pierre Garcon (shoulder, knee) did not practice today.
It’s the first official practice of the week for the Niners, as the team plays on Monday night. We’ll track the veteran receiver’s practice status the next two days, but we expect he’ll tough it out against the Packers.
10/11/18 - 06:33 PM ET
O.J. Howard remains limited in practice.
Two straight limited practices is probably a positive, but Howard’s Week 6 status is still up in the air. We’ll see how he’s listed on the injury report for the game when it’s released tomorrow.
