Join now >Jalen Richard handles seven touches in Week 5 loss.
Richard rushed once for four yards and caught six passes for 53 yards in the 26-10 defeat. Oakland’s receiving back benefitted from some late underneath targets, but that’s not something fantasy owners should rely on. Richard is only worth considering as a PPR FLEX option against Seattle next Sunday.

David Johnson scores twice against the Niners.
Johnson had 18 carries for 55 yards and two touchdowns along with two receptions (on three targets) for 16 yards in Arizona’s first win of the season. We’d still like to see Johnson get the ball in space more, but a couple of short touchdowns helped make it an excellent fantasy performance for the star running back. DJ is simply so good that offensive personnel and gameplan issues aren’t holding him back too much. He’s too good of a player to keep out of lineups next week against the Vikings.
10/8/18 - 12:10 PM ET
Jermaine Gresham catches one pass against the Niners.
Gresham gained 11 yards on his lone reception (one target) in Arizona’s first win of the season. Gresham is a better veteran presence than fantasy option.

Josh Rosen throws long touchdown in Week 5.
Rosen started the game with a 75-yard touchdown to fellow rookie Christian Kirk on a play where the safety curiously screamed up the field and allowed Kirk to run right by him for an easy deep score. From there, the offense couldn’t get much going through the air but the defense forced five turnovers to help lift the Cardinals to their first win of the season. Overall, Rosen was 10/25 for 170 yards and a touchdown in the win. The best news is that Arizona’s offensive line again gave Rosen plenty of time to throw. Rosen should not be in fantasy lineups next week against Minnesota.
10/8/18 - 12:08 PM ET
Chad Williams gets six targets in Week 5.
Williams’ six targets were a team-high against the Niners, but he caught just two passes for 23 yards in the game. Arizona’s pass-catchers are difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.
10/8/18 - 12:21 PM ET
Tyler Kroft held without a catch in Sunday’s win over Miami.
He was targeted once. Kroft doesn’t look like a fantasy option with Tyler Eifert (ankle) out for the season, as C.J. Uzomah is the preferred play.
10/8/18 - 12:07 PM ET
Marshawn Lynch contained on 11 touches as Oakland fall to 1-4.
Lynch rushed nine times for 31 yards in the 26-10 loss, also adding two receptions for ten yards. Marshawn was clearly frustrated after a Derek Carr interception on first-and-goal from the one-yard line, and it’s an interesting potential storyline to follow this week as he faces the Seahawks for the first time next Sunday. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Lynch go off, but Seattle has played very stout run defense this season, and stopping their former offensive centerpiece could be a focus for them in Week 6. Consider Marshawn a low-end RB2/FLEX option.
