James was targeted one time in the Week 5 loss, gaining seven yards on his lone reception. James is not a recommended fantasy option right now.

Victor Bolden Jr. catches one pass in Week 5.
Bolden gained ten yards on his lone reception in the Niners’ loss. He’s not a reliable fantasy option at the moment.

Kendrick Bourne catches four passes in Niners’ loss.
Bourne gained 33 yards on his four receptions (seven targets) against the Cardinals. Bourne is more of a dynasty-league fantasy option for now.
10/8/18 - 12:48 PM ET
Pierre Garcon gets 12 targets in Week 5.
Garcon, who briefly left the game with a shoulder injury, caught five passes for 47 yards against the Cardinals. The 12 targets are obviously a major positive for Garcon, and he’ll be a low-upside FLEX option if he keeps getting a good number of looks in the passing game. The shoulder injury doesn’t seem like much of a concern after he returned to the game.

Philip Rivers, Chargers cruise to 26-10 victory over the Raiders.
Rivers was 22/27 for 339 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. The first score came on a 44-yard catch-and-run by Austin Ekeler, and then Rivers connected with Virgil Green from 13 yards out for his second score. It would have been fun to see what Los Angeles could have done if Oakland was able to produce offensively, but fantasy owners should take the production from Rivers. The 36-year-old is quietly playing some of the best football of his career with multiple touchdowns in every game, and he should be started confidently as a QB1 next Sunday in Cleveland.
10/8/18 - 12:46 PM ET
Trent Taylor scores against Arizona.
Taylor was a reliable target for C.J. Beathard throughout the Week 5 loss, catching seven-of-eight targets for 61 yards and a touchdown. Taylor isn’t a recommended fantasy option quite yet, but he’s someone to keep an eye on particularly in PPR leagues.
10/8/18 - 12:44 PM ET
The Jaguars are placing Austin Seferian-Jenkisns on injured reserve.
Seferian-Jenkins is being placed on injured reserve for the core muscle injury he’s been dealing with, but he’ll be eligible to return after eight weeks. ASJ can be safely dropped in fantasy leagues. Niles Paul will assume the top tight end role for Jacksonville, and he might offer some TE1 upside for the rest of the season.
