Juszczyk carried once for 12 yards and added six receptions (on seven targets) for 75 yards against the Cardinals. Matt Breida injured his ankle in the game, which led to a bigger role for Juszczyk. If Breida misses more time, Juszczyk would enter the FLEX conversation particularly in PPR leagues.

Alfred Morris gets 21 touches against the Cardinals.
With Matt Breida leaving the game early with an ankle injury, Morris was basically a workhorse for the Niners, carrying 18 times for 61 yards and adding three receptions for 30 yards. If Breida is forced to miss more time because of the ankle injury, Morris would be at least a volume-driven RB2/FLEX option. If Breida is healthy, Morris would remain just a weak FLEX.

Martavis Bryant caught three passes for 91 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers.
Bryant caught all three of his targets and led the team in receiving, but he also lost a fumble in the 26-10 defeat. Oakland’s big-play No. 3 receiver carries plenty of weekly upside, so he is worth considering as a desperation option in a good matchup against Seattle next Sunday. That said, there are probably more reliable plays in 10- and 12-team leagues for Week 6.

C.J. Beathard turns the ball over four times in Niners’ loss.
Beathard again played a tough game for the Niners, but the Cardinals pressured him throughout the game and forced four turnovers (two interceptions, two fumbles). Beathard was 34/54 for 349 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and two fumbles lost, with two carries for seven yards and a touchdown on the ground. The second-year quarterback battled and tried to bring his team back, but they fell to 1-4 on the season. Beathard is not a highly-recommended fantasy option next Monday night at Lambeau Field.

Doug Martin handles two touches in Week 5 loss.
Martin rushed twice for one yard and didn’t haul in his only target. Oakland didn’t commit to the running game against the Chargers, but Martin has turned 30 touches into 96 total yards through five weeks, and it’s looking increasingly unlikely that he makes an impact in his age-29 campaign. The former All-Pro doesn’t need to be owned heading into a matchup against the Seahawks.

Ricky Seals-Jones doesn’t catch a pass in Week 5.
Seals-Jones has upside as an athletic big-play tight end, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups right now.
10/8/18 - 12:24 PM ET
Christian Kirk catches long touchdown in Week 5.
Kirk scored an early first-quarter touchdown on a 75-yard deep ball on a play where the safety curiously flew up the field, allowing the rookie receiver to zoom by for the long score—the first of his career. It was great to see the former Texas A&M star used on a deep route, which he excels at with his speed, acceleration, and deep route-running ability. Overall, Kirk had three receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for five yards. Kirk has some upside next week against the Vikings, but he’s not a highly-recommended Week 6 fantasy option.
