The Jets offensive line did an excellent job of opening lanes for the running backs, and Crowell was able to bust open for a few long runs including a 77-yard touchdown run. Overall, Crowell had 15 carries for 219 yards (14.6 yards per carry) and a touchdown along with one reception for 12 yards. Crowell has been boom-or-bust this season, so consider him just a FLEX option next week against the Colts.

C.J. Anderson rushed four times for nine yards in Sunday’s win over the Giants.
Anderson started the year with a decent role behind Christian McCaffrey, but that hasn’t been the case over the past couple games, and he’s looking like a handcuff that doesn’t need to be owned in 10- or 12-team leagues. The veteran is one pace for 432 total yards and four total touchdowns at the quarter mark of the season.

Sam Darnold throws three touchdowns in Jets’ win.
Darnold wasn’t ultra efficient against the Broncos, but he played well at home to help the Jets notch their second win of the season. The rookie quarterback was 10/22 for 198 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the win, with all three scores coming over 20 yards—two to Robby Anderson, including a 76-yarder; and one to Terrelle Pryor. It was great to see the pinpoint accuracy on Darnold’s deep balls, something he’s done very well to start his NFL career. Darnold faces the Colts in Week 6.

D.J. Moore handles five touches in win over the Giants.
Moore caught four-of-four targets for 49 yards, also adding an 18-yard run. Carolina’s first-round pick showed his explosiveness with the ball in his hands on Sunday, and it’s probably only a matter of time before he operates as the clear starter alongside Devin Funchess. Moore is on pace for a 24/412/4 line at the quarter mark of the season; he will look to get going in Week 6 against the Redskins, but he’s just an upside bench stash for now.
10/8/18 - 10:38 AM ET
Tim Patrick catches one pass in Broncos’ loss.
Patrick gained six yards on his lone Week 5 reception. He’s not on the fantasy radar at the moment.
10/8/18 - 10:36 AM ET
Jeff Heuerman catches two passes in Week 5.
Heuerman gained 18 yards on his two receptions. He’s not a recommended fantasy option right now.
10/8/18 - 10:35 AM ET
Courtland Sutton catches first career touchdown in Week 5.
The rookie receiver opened the scoring for the Broncos in their loss to the Jets, lunging for and making a nice catch on a pass by the sideline in the end zone for eight yards. Overall, Sutton had two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown in the game. The touchdown should be the first of many for the rookie receiver, but he’s not yet a highly-recommended fantasy option.
