The receptions were Davis’ first of his career, and the undrafted rookie has also operated as the team’s main kick returner over the past two weeks. He isn’t on the fantasy radar heading into a matchup with the Eagles.

Demaryius Thomas goes over 100 yards with a score against the Jets.
Thomas had his best game of the season in the Week 5 loss, catching five-of-six targets for 105 yards and a touchdown. The score was basically garbage time, but it was a 42-yarder to help make it a very productive day for the veteran receiver. Perhaps this performance will lead to more targets for Thomas, but he has a tough matchup next week against the Rams.

Royce Freeman gets five carries in Week 5.
Freeman gained 31 yards on his five carries and added three receptions for 16 yards against the Jets. There was talk of wanting to get Freeman more involved as a runner, but that obviously didn’t happen, and Phillip Lindsay (12 carries, three receptions) nearly doubled his touches. Freeman is just a weaker FLEX option for Week 6 in a tough matchup against the Rams.
10/8/18 - 10:14 AM ET
Phillip Lindsay gets 15 touches against the Jets.
Lindsay carried 12 times for 61 yards (leading the team in both categories) and caught three passes for 20 yards in the Week 5 loss. Despite talk of wanting to get Royce Freeman (five carries) more involved, Lindsay continues to be treated as the top running back for Denver, and he continues to play well. Lindsay is a FLEX option when he faces the Rams in Week 6.

Russell Shepard caught three passes for 52 yards in Sunday’s loss to Carolina.
Shepard had a long gain on New York’s final drive to set up a go-ahead touchdown against his former team, but the Panthers were able to win it with a 63-yard field goal as time expired on the following possession. Now looking like the Giants’ No. 3 receiver, Shepard is someone worth monitoring in deeper leagues heading into a matchup with the Eagles, but he can probably stay on the waiver wire in 10- or 12-team leagues.

Case Keenum nears 400 yards in Broncos’ loss.
The Broncos led early in the game on a touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton, but it was all Jets from there as the Broncos dropped to 2-3. Keenum was 35/51 for 377 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, so the volume helped deliver a good fantasy day. However, the Broncos will ideally have a lot more balance in their offense. This makes is five straight games with an interception to open the season for Keenumm, who has seven interceptions total so far this year. Keenum is very difficult to trust in fantasy lineups next week against the Rams.
10/8/18 - 10:10 AM ET
Sterling Shepard caught four passes for 75 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.
Shepard was second on the team with seven targets and has now gone for lines of 6/80/1, 10/77/1, and 4/75 over the past three weeks, but he’s unfortunately had the negative influence of Odell Beckham Jr. rub off on him with a sideline meltdown. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old is locked in as at least a solid FLEX option for a quick turnaround for a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Eagles, and he would benefit from Philly potentially trying to take away Beckham to frustrate him.
