Join now >Theo Riddick gets five touches in Week 5.
Riddick carried three times for three yards and added two receptions for 20 yards against the Packers. The Lions weren’t forced to pass the ball much in a game they were frontrunners. Riddick will be on the PPR FLEX radar when the Lions return from their Week 6 bye.

LeGarrette Blount scores twice against the Packers.
Blount converted a couple of early goal line carries to help the Lions get an early lead on their division rival, and overall he carried 12 times for 22 yards and two touchdowns. The veteran running back continues to split work with rookie Kerryon Johnson, who is running the ball better overall. Blount is a touchdown-dependent FLEX option in fantasy lineups.

Kerryon Johnson (ankle) did not return against the Packers.
The game was basically in-hand, so it’s not a surprise that Johnson did not return, and his ankle injury is said to be minor. Before leaving, Johnson had 12 carries for 70 yards and added two receptions for 15 yards in the Week 5 win. The rookie again carried the ball better than LeGarrette Blount, but they again split work evenly, and Blount converted a couple of goal line opportunities. The bye week comes at the right time for Johnson, as he’ll have time to get his ankle close to 100% for Week 7 against the Dolphins.
10/8/18 - 08:33 AM ET
Marcus Mariota, Titans fall to the Bills, 13-12, on last-second field goal.
Mariota was 14/26 for 129 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception, also adding two carries for ten yards. Tennessee’s offense left the game with a lead on their final drive, but Buffalo was able to get in range to kick a field goal as time expired, knocking the Titans to 3-2. Two lost fumbles (one by Dion Lewis and one by Taywan Taylor) were costly in a defensive battle, and wide receiver Nick Williams also dropped a late would-be touchdown reception on a dime by Mariota that might have been too much for the Bills to overcome. Overall, it was a disappointing game for Mariota’s fantasy prospects, and he gets a difficult matchup against the Ravens next week, leaving him as nothing more than a low-end QB2 option.
10/8/18 - 08:31 AM ET
Matthew Stafford throws two touchdowns in Lions’ win.
It was a balanced offensive approach from the Lions, who got two goal line touchdowns from LeGarrette Blount, so Stafford wasn’t asked to carry the team, but he played well. Stafford was 14/26 for 183 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 6 victory over Green Bay, connecting with Marvin Jones Jr. and Kenny Golladay on a couple of scores inside the ten. The Lions now enter their bye week at 2-3.
10/8/18 - 08:31 AM ET
Lance Kendricks scores against the Lions.
Kendricks caught two passes (on two targets) for eight yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 loss. The veteran tight end is not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.
10/8/18 - 08:28 AM ET
Marquez Valdes-Scantling scored first career touchdown in Week 5.
A coverage bust allowed Valdes-Scantling to get free for a short touchdown—Green Bay’s first of the day and Valdes-Scantling’s first of his career. Overall, Valdes-Scantling caught seven passes (on ten targets) for 68 yards and a touchdown. The rookie receiver will be a FLEX option for Week 6 if Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion) both remain out.
