Join now >George Kittle explodes for 125 yards and a score against the Chargers.
The Chargers were the No. 1 team against opposing tight ends coming into the Week 4 matchup, but Kittle had his best game of the season to this point, catching six-of-eight targets for 125 yards and a touchdown. The score was an 82-yarder in which Kittle caught a pass down the seam and turned on the jets for six. Through four games, Kittle is on pace for a 72/1,264/4 line. While the long touchdown obviously gave that pace a big boost, Kittle is basically San Francisco’s No. 1 receiver on offense. Kittle is arguably the top fantasy tight end behind Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce, and Zach Ertz.

Duke Johnson handles six touches in Week 4 loss.
Johnson rushed twice for 11 yards and caught four passes for 45 yards, also adding a two-point conversion. Despite being signed to an extension earlier this year, Johnson didn’t get a ton of work over the first month of the season, and he’s on pace for just 84 total touches and 496 total yards through four games. More snaps at receiver would probably help his fantasy value and Cleveland’s offense so Nick Chubb can get more snaps in the backfield.

Marquise Goodwin gets three touches against the Chargers.
Goodwin caught two passes (on four targets) for 24 yards and added one carry for four yards in the Week 4 loss. He left briefly with an injury, but it didn’t appear to be anything serious. Goodwin doesn’t need to be on fantasy rosters with Jimmy Garoppolo, who he had a great connection with, out for the year.

Carlos Hyde operates as workhorse in loss to the Raiders.
Hyde rushed 22 times for 82 yards and one touchdown, which came from one yard away in the fourth quarter. Despite two strong performances in a row for the veteran, now might be a prime sell-high opportunity with games against the Ravens and Chargers over the next couple weeks, especially after Nick Chubb went off with three carries for 105 yards and two scores on Sunday. Assuming he keeps a stranglehold on the starting job and is locked in to 20+ touches, Hyde is probably still viewed as an RB2/FLEX option in a tough matchup for Week 5.
10/1/18 - 12:54 PM ET
Alfred Morris gets five touches against the Chargers.
Morris had four carries for 14 yards and one reception for four yards in the Week 4 loss. Perhaps Morris was limited because he was listed as questionable coming into the game (as was Breida), but the Niners might have decided that Breida should be their clear lead ball-carrier moving forward. The veteran running back is on pace for 176 carries for 668 yards and four touchdowns along with 12 receptions for 144 receiving yards. Morris is a risky touchdown-dependent FLEX option for Week 5 against Arizona.
10/1/18 - 12:53 PM ET
Matt Breida gets 12 touches in Week 4.
Breida had nine carries for 39 yards and three receptions for 32 yards against the Chargers. Through four games, Breida is averaging 7.6 yards per carry and is on pace for 164 carries, 1,252 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 40 receptions, and 340 receiving yards. The explosive second-year back had five more carries than Alfred Morris in the game, and he’s a solid starting option for Week 5 against the Cardinals.
10/1/18 - 12:52 PM ET
Nick Chubb scores two touchdowns on three carries in Week 4 loss.
Chubb rushed three times for 105 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown and a 41-yard touchdown, becoming the first player in NFL history to rush for 100+ yards and multiple scores on three or fewer carries. The Browns seem committed to Carlos Hyde (22 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown) as their starter this year, but the Georgia product might simply be too good to keep off the field for too much longer. Through four games, Chubb has rushed ten times for 146 yards (14.6 YPC) and one touchdown; he is arguably the best handcuff in the league as an impact talent behind an elite offensive line.
